Aya grinned and nodded as she closed her eyes as she was told, hearing the woman speak a Bakudo, she was unsure what was going on around her, maybe it was to make sure Aya didn't figure out how to do the technique, but then she started to hear Lucy panic a bit which made her open her eyes and look around them and to her surprise, they were indeed far away from Soul society, in fact she never considered looking here. Then Lucy started saying about this making his move already, then told Aya if they hurried they could rescue him. Aya didn't even question it she just followed along Lucy just as fast. Aya thought to herself.
Lucy shunpoed through the forest, finally making to a giant clearing with shards of broken rock everywhere. In the middle of the gigantic clearing was a hole of massive proportions with no end in sight. Lucy stopped, anger boiling through her entire body as bits of sand began to rise. Hozumi was on his knees, infront of a being letting off no presence whatsoever. Hozumi was heavily panting, his blade shattered along with some of his bones. Blood was dripping down his body. He turned to Lucy and his mom, a weak smile forming "M-mom" The beings tail hit him in the stomach, his eyes widening then closing. Its tail continued to coil around his neck and lift him in the air, turning towards the two with an unammused look
"Oh, I didn't expect you to be here" It said, with no emotion in its tone. Lucy's form quickly shifted, transforming into her demonic form. Her eyes were boiling with rage as the sand around her feet began to disintegrate
"YOU ALREADY TOOK VIOLE AWAY! I WON'T LET YOU TAKE AWAY HOZUMI!!!!" She sped towards the being without a second thought, a massive dust cloud being left behind. She approached it with immense speeds, however it did not bat an eye. Before she knew it, Lucy began to slow down. Her strength began to fade. She was no longer to be lifted in the air but ran, then walked, then crawled. She was heavily panting, on her knees before the being. It smirked. She struggled to look up at its eyes, slowly raising her hand as her skin began to crack and blood come from her eyes, nose, ears and mouth.
"Don't take him" Nothing was around her anymore, just pitch darkness and the being. Her body was going numb, coldness surrounding her.
"He was never yours" A glimmer came out of its eyes and hit Lucy, a massive wall of flames engulfing her. As the flames vanished, her body dropped and reverted back to her normal form
"You get to live with the pain. Now, what will you do?" It asked, turning its attention to Aya.
