Barely managing to get himself up to his knees, Rin looked around to find Shoske. The Joker's last attack got them enough distance away from her not to get caught into any more attacks. It seemed the two of them were both sprawled across the floor. He wasn't able to recognize the exact place they landed, but quite frankly, he couldn't care much. He owed Shoske his life and luckily, he could still feel his Reiatsu. "That last one blew me away." Rin spoke as he lost his grip and fell face first to the floor. His momentary laugh was cut short by a painful moan. He didn't like the fact that they weren't able to get her, but he should be content. Him being an unseated Shinigami and still managing to make her bleed, however little that may have been. And he made it out alive. Both of them did. What he could promise to himself was that he'll get her next time. As for now... "I guess we can go for that beer."
Shoske was kneeling down, his bloodied fist in the ground "Dammit, I couldn't even cut her. Did i waste all that time mastering just those two skills?" He looked over at Rin, who was still conscious. He smiled, rubbing the back of his head "Yeah, I guess its a good thing she sent us flying. To be honest, that last attack was my last hope so we were pretty much screwed" He said with a slight chuckle, not feeling as much pain as Rin. Shoske moved over so that his back could lean against a wall "Next time though, we'll deal more damage. Lets make her regret that she let us live" He said with a wide grin, struggling to get up and holding his hand out to Rin "but for now, a beer sounds great. After we get you to Squad 4 that is"
