The sharp kick from the powdered "Nectar" seemed to burn Elin's nose but soon after, it relaxed Elin's nerves and she collapsed on her couch, staring up at the slowly rotating ceiling fan. It was late and she was alone finally and Elin would sometimes end her day snorting or shooting up drugs as she recollected the day. Reon and Cylandus had all gone back to their respective places. Markus had first watch outside Elin's door. This was nothing new to Elin, She was a valued asset to the Crimson Scales and they spared no expense to make sure that asset did not get caught by any authority. The thought of Elin just being an "asset" made her feel sick because what if she no longer was an asset? That fathead, Temujin was right. Her body guards would leave her as soon as they stopped receiving money. Markus and Cylandus would be gone. Reon might leave her, too. The Torros was nice enough at an arm's length but it seemed all superficial. Plus it doesn't matter how nice anyone was on Tryliin. People needed money to survive and Reon would go wherever that money would be. He has bills, a family somewhere out in the vast universe he was providing for. Elin wouldn't hate him for leaving because he would have to. He probably wanted to go home more than anything else. Outside of those three, Elin has her older sister and brother, but by no means were they close. Erik was an authoritative hard ass in the human navy while Emelia was a stuck-up bitch. Elin tried reconnecting with her sister about a year ago, but that fell short when Emelia wasn't thrilled to hear Elin was a criminal now.

Elin bent over and snorted another line of "Nectar". The sharp kick hit the thin girl harder this time, causing a bit of the jitters. She fell back onto the couch and resumed staring at the ceiling fan. Secretly Elin hoped that the people she met today were the real deal. People who weren't corrupted by the Tryliin curse of just caring about themselves. Looking back, that's why Elin offered that damn blue girl a hand up. That fathead and blue just seemed to be selfless people instead of selfish. That was at least what Elin had hoped.

Elin closed her eyes and her mind teased her of the thought of a different life. Back home, maybe, but she couldn't tell. She fell asleep before she figure out.
A sharp rapping on the door violently woke Elin up. She leaped from her couch and onto her feet as she stared at the door for a moment. "Elin! Open up! We're going to be late to meet those whoevers from yesterday's meetin'." Elin knew that very deep, commanding voice. "Hold on, Reon!" Elin shouted back. Thankfully Elin had already packed her bag with every thing she'd be needing today. She grabbed it and ran out the door. Reon told her that Markus and Cylandus were not interested in the bounty because the bounty pot would be further reduced from the already numerous people partaking. Reon said he counted seven.

The trip to the meeting spot was short, as they were in the neighborhood already. As the two of them walked, Elin geared herself up. Her right arm was covered with metal exoskeleton, mimicking the bone structure underneath her skin. This bit was designed to help Elin aim and shoot her machine gun with accuracy and without most of the recoil. On her other arm was big metal brace covering her forearm. Inside the brace was a machine, of Elin's own design, that would project an glowing orange oval shield that could cover Elin's entire body. Finally she had what looks like a pair of ski googles resting on her forehead. The googles were fitted with thermal vision to help Elin seen in the dark. To power all this equipment, Elin had a small rough box hanging from her belt. Inside it held several photon batteries that powered Elin's makeshift equipment. Of course Elin had a few grenades, gadgets, and her machine gun stowed away still in her bag.

Reon entered the run down room first and eyed everyone. Elin followed but kept her distance from everyone. She felt embarrassed when pratically everyone else was wearing an official combat suit/armor of some kind. Elin looked a bit dingy with her junkyard equipment. She let Reon address everyone on behalf of them both. "Well I'm glad to see we made it. Is this everyone, yea?"
I'll get a rinky dink post here soon.

Name: Amelia Capello
Gender: Female

Personality: Amelia has the base attributes of being lax, outgoing, and friendly. She normally doesn't shy away from a conversation or meeting someone, unless she is rather preoccupied, externally or internally. She'll try her best to satisfy others as long as it doesn't conflict with her own interests and if it does, she'll tell you politely. Persist or threaten her? She'll stand up for herself and fight if it ever came to it. Naturally excited and optimistic, she'll provide warmer feelings in the darkest of moments. Meanwhile some quirks about her personality are minor things but mainly deal with her privileged background. She is a little more emotional on a regular basis, but with a little reassurance, she can keep a lid on it. She also has a taste for finer things and is a bit stuck up in minor ways.

Prior History: The eldest daughter of four, Amelia is shining role model for her brothers and sisters. At home, Amelia grew up with a wealthy muggleborn father, but a mother who was a full-blooded witch. Things tended to be more elegant and expensive but Amelia did her best not to brag about it. At school, she was an excellent student, albeit a bit of a smart arse on occasion. She exceeded in all of her classes, save a few, and was a very popular person at Hogwarts. Due to success in school and her admiration for those students in the Order of the Phoenix, Amelia had always set her out on becoming an Auror but her parents must have been even wanting it more than she ever did. When her final year rolled around, Amelia hesitated as talk of a Wizard's Pilgrimage started circling around her class. A chance to see the world freely was a thrilling prospect that not even an Auror could boast of. Much to the disappointment of her parents, Amelia put off her ambitions to become an Auror for one last adventure with some of her friends. After all, this was bound to be the last time she would spend time with them.

It is a pretty good life without having to go and pay for those many, many hours of schooling to become a doctor.

Ah. Studying anything interesting? I'm in a teacher prep program, which is all kinds of fun.

You probably wouldn't really believe it, but I'm studying to become a nurse. :D

After that I'll specialize like pediatrics or maybe practitioner.
Anyone catch the Fish Bowl on National Geographic?

When you say college level, do you mean advanced placement? Or are you actually in college? I'm in my third year of college, and I can totally sympathize with difficult classes.

In college.
