Personality:
Nox is quiet and observant. She doesn't speak unless she feels it's needed but will offer her opinion when necessary. Becomes angry easily but carefully hides these emotions from view. Often the target of her fury will go unaware of their transgression until she eventually enacts her revenge. Dislikes dogs more than any creature and will go out of her way to kill one if she can get away with it. Despite this she can be caring and thoughtful if she feels it's earned.
Appearance:
Nox is 5'8 with a slim bone structure and lengthy, agile limbs. She has Ivory toned skin and long silver hair that is usually kept in a neat ponytail. She has many raised, white and pink burn marks wrapping around her arms, legs, and torso, giving her skin a swirling, unpleasant appearance. Her face is slim with high cheek bones, a long, straight nose, and small but full lips. Her left eye is blue, but the right is a milky white and unseeing. The right portion of her face, starting at her eye and ending at her lip, is covered in a red, raised scar tissue. She wears most often a pair of grey, sturdy pants, a cream colored shirt, a hooded brown cloak and a pair of reliable leather boots.
Backstory:
Nox was chosen to be a knight at age three, and like many others remembers none of her life before that. What she does know is that she was raised and taken to the Choosing by a since closed orphanage. Given her half breed status, she can only assume that she was given up due to being a bastard child. This leads her to believe that her mother was the one with Elvish blood, as she's been told that they are an exclusive and closed off people. She also believes there must have been some great fire at the orphanage or before that, because for as long as she can remember she's been covered in a thick layer of aged scar tissue which she can only assume are from serious burns.
Knight's Raiment:
Hell's bow: A long bow, made of a flexible, light wood, with many silver embossed designs carved along the sides. The top and bottom of the bow each bear one silver eye with a ruby set into the iris. When an arrow draws blood from it's target, these eyes glow momentarily. Nox has found that going to long without a blood kill of some kind causes the bow to become unbalanced and difficult to shoot. If an arrow does draw blood, the special ability of the bow causes the arrow to dig itself in further like a leech, worsening any wound it causes. The quiver is similarly designed aesthetically and does not run out of arrows.
