A taster of potential IC.
Personal records of Grand Priest Vulideon
Pharast 12
It is over. The Orcish brutes have burnt the White Libraries and killed my poor brothers of peace, mercilessly slaughtered not for their faith, but for the pleasure of barbarians. However, not everyone has fallen, a handful including me have survived.
Pharast 14
I have fled with those I was able to hide in the catacombs, we make our way toward the Red Spears in the hope that the dwarves can provide a home. The Nehai there may be of some assist concerning my damaged scrolls, I dearly hope so.
Pharast 21
We lost three of our own this week as we waded through the south marshes, some say it was the reed snakes but I fear we are being followed and picked off one by one. Food supplies are still abundant, but the open fields to come may burn away our water.
Pharast 24
An Orc patrol almost happened upon our camp a few hours ago, luckily the flame from the fire had gone out, we may have been nought but corpses if not for the bitter wind.
Gozran 1
We are a day or so away from our destination, the signs point toward a disappointing arrival, there has been nothing but ruins and burnt homes in every hamlet and village we have passed.
Gozran 3
We are here and my fears have been proven true, the dead litter the deep halls and Orcs and Goblins have taken up home in the upper levels, we are hiding in one of the miner tunnels and have blocked off the entrance as a collapse would.
Gozran 7
I have always been in admiration of the Dwarves, but now I truly am in awe of there ways. The mushrooms they grow beneath the stone of their homes have proven to fuel us up until now, much of our own food still remains in our makeshift containers.
Gozran 13
Life goes on, Brother Sibuer dead in the night, the cold and metallic air inflamed his lungs. The 14 of us that remain are healthy and are working to make the tunnel a little more habitable.
Desnus 9
It brings sorrow to my heart to write in Vulideons record. I inform you now, in these texts , that the Grand Priest has past away in his age. He has lived a happy life among his Brothers and has died at 172.
May his Elven spirit meet with those of his ancestors.
Captain Bufidor.
