Gabriel Knotts was beaming a smile from ear to ear, as the smell of roasting meat struck his nostrils. The food made over those crackling coals were always tasty, and they filled one of the seven essential meals of the day. He took off his backpack and slung it onto the floor, as he opened it up and dug his hand through his pack as he pulled out his fiddle and bow. Yes today is one for the fanciful fiddle, and not the flute at this moment. he shut his backpack as he swung it back onto his back.

Carefully eying his precious instrument he began tuning it, starting with the A string, moving down to the E string. After his tuning, he placed the fiddle against his head, resting it softly. He drew his bow with his right hand as he slowly brushed it against the string producing a soft and sweet sound. Excellent, now then.

Walking away from the wall he was resting against he moved near the assorted tables where the denizens were eating breakfast. He took a bow, as he then glanced towards them all.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, while you enjoy your delightfully, tongue tingling, tantalizing meal, whether this be your first or third meal of the day, I, GABRIEL KNOTTS, THE 'LAUGHING SCORPION' shall provide to you all this fine day a musical muse and merry melody!" He finished his declaration as he glanced towards Sloan, "And remember to thank your host, for the hospitality."

Gabriel started with a slow and sweet tune, as his bow gently cascaded down the strings of the fiddle, and his fingers danced alongside the strings. All the while he was doing a simple jig, a few steps which corresponded to the beat of the music. Later I shall sing an accompaniment. he thought as he continued his performance.

Katsuo

Name: Katsuo Mizushima (or Mizushima Katsuo for Surname then Given)
Age: 15
Appearance


History: Katsuo was just a regular kohai of the Japanese High School education system, who had a passion for the western music of disco, and dime novels of the Wild West. He made sure to make time to practice its art, when he wasn't engaged in regular after school activities, or cram school, or hanging out with pals at the local arcade, local roller rink, going over to catch a flick (which he'd always insist be a Western.), or just hanging out at his or their house. And of course, those were secondary (well sans Cram school), to him doing well in school, so he could score high on the University Exam, then get through University with good marks, then get into Law School.
Personality: Katsuo is a bit of a goofball, who can get fairly obsessive over things (such as Disco), and is hot-blooded concerning those topics of interest. He tries to balance out his desires of doing whatever he feels like, against what may happen in the future. He tends to rush into situations, mostly out of fun, unless he sees the longsighted risk in which case he'd avoid doing it.

Abilities: Katsuo has the ability to turn the surface of shoes soles slippery

Skills: Katsuo is a marvelous disco dancer, and is fairly decent at fighting games and excellent at DDR. He also is somewhat knowledgeable about basic laws of Japan. Katsuo is also a decent skateboarder, who can do a few tricks, but mostly just uses his skateboard to get to place to place. He is also knowledgeable about how to properly dye hair.

Inventory: Multi-colored Afro, bundle of homework, chewed up pencil, Japanese Law Book, skateboard, a container of red and brown hair dyes, and color changing contact lens, school backpack.

I'd imagine they'd be able to duke it out in a fair fight. Beamspamman dude may be flustered cause he shoots lazers, and the other guy just punched him, so hurts the ego more.

Name: “The Laughing Scorpion” Gabriel Knotts
Gender: Male
Age: 35
Race: Halfling
Other: (Halflings are basically Hobbits) Halflings are known for their customs, (such as having seven meals per day, and being barefoot), and are known for their natural dexterity, and sharp hearing.

Appearance: Gabriel Knotts is 3’2” tall. He has dark brown eyes, and has curly light brown hair, goes down to the middle of his back; he also sports a pair of thick side burns, which are rather scruffy. His eyebrows are rather bushy, and his eyelashes are extremely thick and luscious. Gabriel skin is medium light brown. Gabriel’s face is baby-smooth, and he has very thin lips. Gabriel wears light cloth armor which is a checkered motley pattern with light reds, dark purples, and light orange color scattered throughout the outfit. On his pants he has four sheaths on each side, which holds his throwing daggers. And above the four sheathes on the left side, is a larger sheath which holds a whip that has a bright yellow handle. Gabriel wears no shoes over his feet, which have a thick layer of light brown hair over his toes. His toe-nails are trimmed perfectly, along with his fingernails which are all painted bright yellow. Gabriel Knott’s backpack is bright blue and has a giant logo on it which has in bright purple letters, “HUXLEY’S TRAVELLING CIRCUS” which encircles a laughing ringmaster.

Armor: Light Cloth Chestpiece and Pants.
Weapons: 8 Balanced throwing knives, a stockwhip
Other Items: A large backpack, a crowbar, a lock-pick set, a flute, a fiddle, a medium sized jug, a medium sized blanket, a small container with yellow nail-polish.

Skills: Gabriel is a rather proficient juggler, typically he uses his throwing knives for this, but he is able to juggle many strange and interesting things. He is a skilled and quick acrobat, able to contort his body for fascinating performances, and can do a variety of tricks, such as tightrope walking, trapeze and other circus tricks. He has a marvelous singing voice and is proficient in many instruments, however he is the most skilled in the flute and the fiddle. He is also an effective brawler, whose fists do pack quite a punch, however his preferred weapon in combat is the whip and his throwing knives.
Abilities: Using song, performance, quips and jests as a channel, he is able to magically bolster his comrades, and weaken the opposition. He cannot use any magical arts, without doing some performance, whether it be song, dance, or jests.

Personality: Gabriel is an entertainer/jokester at heart, and he is a hedonist. He takes most everything in a light-hearted way. He is affable person who welcomes people with open arms. If his hospitality is exploited, he will hold a stubborn grudge upon the person who violated the trust that was given.
History: Gabriel Knotts was born inside Huxley’s Travelling Circus, to two performers there. Gabriel performed there, until the Circus finally settled down at one location. Gabriel Knotts left the Circus at this point to engage in his own travels and exciting adventures. Currently he does performances at the Faintly Gallows Inn.
