Remington, was not expecting to die, not like this. His hands were cold and clammy, and his face dripped with a cold sweat. His mouth was dripping with blood, as he made a few gasping sounds as the blood gurgled in his throat. He knew that death was assuredly awaiting him. He dug his right hand and its fingernails into the board as he struggled to pull himself forward. He, found that the strength he had quickly faded. His eyelids were drooping as his vision was finally fading to darkness. It was a miracle he made it this long...
I could have won, if it weren't for that kid, I would have been a contender. I wish I had you to blame for this Mimsy, old friend, b-but I'm alone... I... I don't want to die alone. I'm so c-cold... He thought as his lips quivered as he managed to announce in a dying gasp. "M-Mimsy... S-spea-" was able to be gurgled out before the inevitable.
Mysterious Camp in the Forest
"Twenty one!" Said a goon who laid down his cards on Jel, who was now swarming with flies. The camp leader, the mysteriously dressed Elf sighed. "Well they clearly failed. Right well, we should get out of here." He bluntly stated as he got up, before thinking. "Hold up, Rogers, you go back into town and just confirm they failed."
Rogers, a man dressed in chain-mail tunic, and had a large boil on his pig-like nose gave a nod to his colander. "Aye aye sir!"
Elric's Manor
Ah the manorhouse, a sight that Elric didn't see all too often as he usually slept in his shop. He was assisted off the steed by Benjamin, strange lad he was, Elric gave a nod, as he clutched onto the book and box. "A-ah thank you." He said as he wheezed out a nasty cough as he shot out globbels of phlegm. Elric raised his eyebrow at Corinne incredulously, "Rest? I have so mu-" Elric grimaced in agony from his condition as he coughed up another globblet of phlegm. "A-as I was saying." His tone clearly racked with pain, "I have much work to do. And I h-have some ideas but I'd like to be able to verify and confirm it." He said. After a lull, "I'll really need to send a missive to the knight..."
Interrogation Chamber of the Guards
Mimsy just recently woke up and he noticed he was in a dark room. "Boss we fina- Say what's going on here?" By the dim torch light that illuminated this rather small room, he saw the silhouette of another man, well not so much a man but a Gnome. Yes it was definitely a Gnome. He stepped forward, revealing his trimmed black hair and goatee. He had a large scar across his neck and he was dressed in a bright purple tunic and blue woolen pants with a silver trim.
"...What's going on?" The Gnome boisterously declared with an abnormally baritone voice, even compared with an adult man, "We are going to have a little chat." He said rattling a few chains, which had a large meat-hook on the end of both sides. Mimsy glanced around, noticing he was latched down to a chair. "You were brought here by some good folks, and-" Mimsy interrupted, "How did I get here?" He said with no trace of trying to be mean, but a genuine curiosity.
The Gnome was taken aback by this, "I told you already..."
He said starting to get annoyed. Oh by Pelor this is gonna be a long one...

Name: Nicholas Grey, THE GREATEST RACER OF OUR GENERATION (While not officially part of his name, it is one of many titles he has, and is the primary one he uses.)
Appearance:
*Underneath the mask, Nicholas has rather white skin. He has bright blue eyes, and black hair which goes all the way to the back of his neck. His hair is always combed fairly well (except when he initially takes his mask off). He doesn't have "sharp" facial features, and over-all looks like an average man.*

Bio: Nicholas Grey lived a normal childhood, in a kind orphanage, for a few years. (Nicholas is rather confused about why so many orphans have tragic stories, but that is besides the point.). He lived in the orphanage until he was adopted by a nice suburban couple. While in their care he learned a lot about racing, as he always watched it with his adopted family whenever a race was on. It was there he decided to train to become a Racer. Once he made it as a driver, he grew arrogant as his wins increased, which happened quite often (ie. most every race, sans a few at the beginning) as he was a true natural at the sport. One day at an unsuspecting casino gig he was attacked by supernatural monsters, such as ghouls, vampires, banshees, etc. (he does not know what set them off, but the casino quickly became infected by those beasts). It was there he learned he had some rare gene which prevented him from being turned into a supernatural creature or supernatural force, and with that push he became a vehement defender of humanity, sworn to protect man from the creatures that go bump in the night. (It really does appeal to his narcissistic view of himself). Which he does in between his job Racing, mingling with other celebrities, and all sorts of corporate gigs. And as a true Bastion of Humanity, he would have been in one of the other agencies, but with such a busy schedule, they wouldn't let him in. But the newer organization Pandora, and the Monster and Supernatural Extermination Squad, was eager to get more people involved. (Especially one who could help promote the message through various media sources.)

IF you need a get-away driver who can pilot a vehicle through the streets, while doing trick stunts and avoiding harming anyone. But if you are afraid of speed, just know, Nicholas CAN'T DRIVE FIFTY-FIIIIIIIVE....)

Unlike the others of the agency, he does not stay in the Pandora Complex, instead opting to go to Lavish Hotels all across Edge City.
Nicholas Grey, while in Edge City, is currently filming a Buddy Cop Film, Maltese Falcon Four: Back in Chinatown, where he plays as the Rookie Agent Douglas Cruickshanks, a hot-headed Police Officer who wants vengeance on the gang that killed his father. He is assigned to be partners with Detective Sammy Breckam (Played by the Shapeshifter Actor, Brook Burns , a worn beat-agent who has become cynical over-time in his failings to convict the Black Diamond Triad Leader, Li Bai. Together, they return to China Town to stop the Black Diamonds from fulfilling the heist of the Maltese Falcon.
Nicholas Grey is also suing a Tabloid Paper, Global News Today, for insinuating that he was having relations with a Supernatural being, and for claiming that he in-fact, was a supernatural being for his mutation that allows him to be the PURE BASTION OF HUMANITY.

I was waiting for the day to pass by, as she did return to the Den to go to sleep for the night. No one should know it was her who killed the guy, except the guy of course, if he's managed to be resurrected. But if any case. Julia would be heading back to the smith to pick up her sword come the next day. I wasn't sure if anyone was going to pop in, investigate. There's been so much going on, sorry I haven't written >.<
