So yeah... I updated my CS about 2 days ago, and am waiting on a response.

I'll get to responding soon. I haven't gotten a lot of time on my hands recently. I may fix that soon.
I'm expecting at least one of my characters to switch sides.

Ben Taylor has the most drastic alter ego, I'd say. By the way, maybe you should move him to this thread so he's easier to find.

Indeed.

Human:
  • Real Name: Ben Taylor

  • Username: βeater (That's how it's typed when he registered, but for ease of typing in this RPG, he'll be referred to as Beater)

  • Age: 16 (Real), 20 (VR)

  • Appearance: Real World Appearance, VR Avatar

  • Personality: In real life, he is anti-social (not in the sense that he is a dick, but rather he doesn't really talk with other people), secluding his life to playing video games. It's not reflected at all in the Digital World. In the Digital World, Ben feels more confident when he's in the form of Beater. Though it's like he's a different person, as he roleplays as a tough-as-nails person. As Beater, he likes a good challenge so long as it's not to the death. He is known to break his Beater character when asked about his life in the real world.

  • Digivice: This, but with gray colored buttons to match the gray Digivice

  • Digimon
  • Species: Armadillomon

  • Nickname: Army

  • Evolutionary Stages: Tsubumon (Baby) > Upamon (In-Training) > Armadillomon (Rookie) > Ankylomon (Champion) > Brachiomon (Ultimate) > Cannondramon (Mega)

  • Other Forms: None that I could actually think of... Maybe some dino-themed Armor Digivolutions, but that's it.

It wasn't well explained in the other thread, I'll agree at this point she'd love them but at a certain point can i have her entering there's certain things that i'd like to discuss with you threw pm. If that's alright with you I'd like to keep it off the normal bio till it becomes apparent.

Um... I guess? The reason why it wasn't well explained was because it was just to briefly explain how the faction works.

Aaaanyyyyywaaaaaay, for those of us that don't like to argue:

I'm with that all the way.

Sunshine said We should choose musical themes for our characters! I love it when CSs include a "Theme" section. I was once in a roleplay where we used SO MUCH theme music, hehe. Pretty much every IC post was littered with links to Youtube. It made for a very atmospheric RP!

    This is Beater's theme:
The way Zyguard works is more like a downplayed Multiverse Border Police when the Multiverse isn't threatened. What they do is find people who have accidentally passed through to other worlds (via zipper-like Cracks, black-hole-esqe Corridors of Darkness, or Dimensional Walls) and find out these two things:

    1) if they want to go home
    2) if they don't and want to continue traveling through the multiverse, ensure they're not gonna screw it up.

If the former is answered, then they just escort them home. If they want to travel and they ensure they won't attack the Multiverse or some other villainous stuff like that, they'll let them off. If they wind up lying and attacking the Multiverse, then Zyguard will attack them, label them as a criminal, and try to detain them. There are other possibilities: The person may want to stay in this new world. In that case, they just leave them alone and trust they won't go evil. Repeat the attacking the criminal if they do. If the person insists on traveling, but don't know how, the offer to join Zyguard is shown and they can join if they so wish.

When the Multiverse is under threat, though, they act more like... Not sure... CIA? FBI? Special Agents are sent to fight the Multiversal Attackers and detain them. There's a reason why the members of Zyguard are fighters and not negotiators, and it's not because it was founded by former Team Gaim members.

@Cake: What you said perfectly describes what Zyguard does. Prevent Genocides, theft, crimes, and the sort of related meddling that occurs with Multiversal Travel. Though some of them are willing to overlook some meddling, provided they give a happier conclusion to the world in question.

Every single character other than mine is female, and nowhere in the OP does it say the game is exclusively in Japan. A little variety would be nice... :/

    Well, cue Ben Taylor.

Honestly. the subs I watched were...basically, they had 2 sub tracks: 1 where they didn't translate enough for my tastes (not bad as TV-N, but still enough that I wasn't prepared to watch it if there was a better alternative) and the other where they translated things well, but also translated the team name, so...I'm kind of used to them being referred to as Wildrangers, I guess....

Ah, I see. Yeah, that would make sense. It's kind of like how I was adjusted to referring to the Lion Fist user as Rio as opposed to Leo, assuming that was a TV-N only thing.
Mio... Well, I got a little confused with the wording of "Wild" instead of "Geki" to have me scratch my head. It's not enough for me to go "No.", but it sort of threw me off. Mio's accepted, by the way.

@Card Captor: Good point. And nice nod to Zolda's Survive Form. Alright. Todoroki's accepted, barring future circumstances.
