Nobuo kept silent and followed the others. He had his trust towards Ba'al for now, at least until he confirms his suspicions, but so far, the lich and him haven't set off the Sentai hero in him. Then again, even if it gets set off, how would he be able to transform? Would he assume the Z-Cune would even work?

His mind was distracted when they entered the Oasis. The name didn't set off any warning flags for him, at least not right now. He listened in on Whitney and Nonon chatting, with Nonon claiming the former has something known as...

Nobuo had heard of this for a while. A pseudo-mental illness in which children aged fourteen begin to delude themselves into things like having a cursed eye or believing that they are a master of the dark flames. Nobuo tried to think if he was ever 'diagnosed' with it... Possibly. He did lapse into delusions of being a Sentai hero, even to his age of twenty-nine.

He had no time to dwell on it though. The group had arrived into the Oasis and spot a magician. After a scuffle, the magician introduced himself as The Viewer... And how he can grant wishes.

"OOOOOH! I know what my wish is!" Nobuo rushed to the front of the crowd. He hasn't caught the part where he had to work for it though... He had caught the part where the wishes can most certainly than not not be what the wisher wanted, even if he was really smart with the wish. Regardless, this one wish was worth any risk. Any consequence. While the Viewer may not want to hear his wish until after the Trials are done, Nobuo wanted him to hear it regardless.

"My wish is to finally have my wife be in real life! My beloved Aoi-Tan~!" Nobuo said before he began to fantasize about holding Aoi-Tan as a normal human being, in his arms. He was like this for quite a while.

Basically, far as I understand, he doesn't grant wishes persay. He just alters probability so that what you wish for happens. And then reality kicks in. So presumably, he's at a point where manipulating the probability of success for a life extension isn't possible anymore

Ah, okay. That makes more sense. I haven't recapped yet, so I was just guessin'.

I'm gonna assume that he either can't make wishes for himself, or he doesn't wish to be put in a "Who Wants To Live Forever" situation. Though there is the "I wish for you to be better" wish... Unless, and this is a wild mass guess here, his weak health was caused by a power so great that his wishes can't overcome it.

If we're speculating on what wish to use, a better one will be "I wish to take your place as God of Wishes." Which might actually fall in line with some guys.

Of course, Nobuo wouldn't wish that. He'd wish for Aoi-tan to be real.

Also, I should catch up on this.

Kamen Rider: Mirai Taisen

Have an idea, but I'm not sure if it's applicable.

I'm thinking of a Sengoku Rider who uses the normal Lockseed versions of the Energy Lockseeds, like how there's the Melon Lockseed, then the Melon Energy Lockseed.

Basically he has the Lemon, Cherry, and Peach Lockseeds... Not sure if that's acceptable or not, so I wanna run it through with you.

Yeah. I'm gonna agree with the others. In the order of preferences:

Interaction first, exploration second, action third.

"We're probably caught in some sort of trap set by Darkrai! At least I assume Darkrai is setting it up." Nobuo answered Vash's question.

That's when Gre-chan walked in. Nobuo took one glance at her and instantly heard the Great Mazinger theme echo in his head. "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH!? Great Mazinger!?" Although Mazinger wasn't his forte, he was familiar with it enough to recognize the outfit that Gre-chan was wearing. "I've definitely gone somewhere else..." Nobuo muttered. Nobuo took his attention to the skeletal lich. Yeah, more clear warning sign of a villain in the making, but he resisted the temptations of his own delusions. Instead, Whitney once again swayed him from assuming these potential allies as the villains.

"Giratina? Worse than Darkrai?" Nobuo had a sudden realization. "Oh crap! Darkrai's probably just a general and Giratina must be an all powerful God, just like Branken and N. Ma from Magiranger!" Nobuo began to freak out along with Whitney.

Though once Whitney regained her cool, Nobuo slapped himself. That's when he suddenly saw a giraffe, a cat, a large beaver, a cow, and two strange fairy-like creatures. An "eh?" popped out of Nobuo's mouth. That's when Nonon pointed out how evil Asphyxious was. Now it was a tough decision. What villain to fight? The man heading a space empire? The lich who fitted more in a video game than a tokusatsu? The Infershia-style villains?

"Personally, I say we find out what really got us here or who sent us here before we start pointing weapons... It's getting a bit confusing for me, heh." Nobuo scratched the back of his head. Already, his deluding brain was getting pooped out. He joined up with Ba'al, as he seemed to be having the same idea he had with scouting out the area.

"I am Ba'al, Supreme Commander of the Goa'uld Star Empire." Ba'al said. The mention of the words "star empire" triggered flashbacks of another Space Empire, Zangyack, within Nobuo. He began to draw a conclusion.

"Could he be the villain we have to face!?" Nobuo thought. He shook his head. "No! Don't delude yourself! Remember what happened when Mitsuki was out of town? Besides, the villain doesn't just up and reveal himself without bringing mooks! He's probably here as part of the main cast of heroes." Nobuo thought. He exhaled.

"Wait, Khador? Me?" Nobuo pointed to himself when Asphyxious talked about the Cygars and Khadors. Nobuo has not heard of something like that in his entire life. Nobuo was puzzled by all the new terms that's being thrown his way. However, one struck his mind.

"Do you happen to know where I could find Darkrai from?"

Darkrai. Just that name alone is a warning sign of 'here be the villain!', more than the Goa'uld Star Empire. What's more, with a name like that, it could even refer to someone like the main villain. It would be stupid to form an army now and march to Darkrai's Fortress, especially this early on. He's yet to meet people. Might as well get to know his potential allies... If they're his allies. Still, without his other Akibarangers to back him up, he's gotta find people to ally with. Start with the friendly introduction.

"Um!" Nobuo raised his hand. "I say we should introduce ourselves, like how Ba'al," Nobuo pointed to Ba'al. "introduced himself. My name is Nobuo Akagi." He's not sure if he's supposed to reveal his identity, but usually that's a big no-no. He looked around and notice a girl with her arm on fire. This was concrete evidence that he was in something... Maybe a different kind of Super Hero Taisen.
