And there have been some stories where he outwits those superpowered people and even beats them in battle.
So just because your character seems normal compared to, say, a few high-powered characters, doesn't mean he's outmatched in anyway.
"A different dimension... Nah, ya think?" Nicholas woke up to this news. By now he would have been on the Fenette with Captain Jason Troy and his first mate Tomas Manfred trying to look for his friends, but instead he's in another dimension.
Nicholas sighed. Well, at the very least he can kill time until Jason comes for him... Though considering how much he had been a dick to him, he highly doubted it.

Looks: Here he is.
Personality: Nicholas is an excitable kid, though with very low self esteem. He found himself at a low when he couldn't find the nerve to confess his feelings to a girl he liked. His solution is to try to become a hero like he'd read about in his stories, though the problem is that with it comes the lack of actual intellect. Thus, you have someone who rushes head first into battle, will more than not want to befriend the people that try to kill him instead of actually shooting them in the face (regardless of what they do to him), and spout hot-blooded speeches.
Abilities: He lacks a lot of abilities, but what he makes up for is an alarming amount of speed. Although he can't outrun fast things like cheetahs and formula-1 drivers, or even break the sound barrier, he is still pretty fast. However, if he uses his speed too much, he begins to feel overloaded and slow down, eventually passing out. Unbeknownst to him, his body was altered to have this power by the Scheherazade Foundation, as part of a test to see how well nanomachines can fare in the travel to alternate universes.
Equipement: At this moment in time, Nicholas lacks any special equipment save for a sword that was given to him by Jiro Yuuki, a master swordsman who told him that the sword belonged to a fellow person who also desired to be a hero, saying that it "suits him". It doesn't really do anything special, save for creating multiples of itself.
