Kerrigan watched as hell broke loose momentarily. After it was all over, things seemed to have relaxed, and jason and the other girl seemed to have gotten along. "so now that things have calmed down, mind if i lead the way? and i repeat my earlier statement. sometimes im glad to be powerless..." Kerrigan lit another cigaret, placing her rifle on her back rather then storing it this time. "i dont know what yall talked about, with you being a psychic and all jason, but if yall want me to know thats yalls business. I just want people to be less angry so we can work together and not get killed." she let out a soft chuckle

"Well..every now and then, I do..mostly when I'm sleeping. Why do you ask?" Ven explains to Brandon, looking at him with equal curiosity.

"well, it seems that the eye change just seems to point it out as a possibility. And ive a voice that id rather love to kill." Brandon said the last bit with a voice dripping with so much venom it could actually kill. he closed his eyes, claming himself. "sorry. Bad memories. and what do you mean by possession suki?"
Alice almost freaked when she saw Hez come out of the teacup. "whoa! Be very careful just going into places like that... ive not been here before but i know those cups... Things do indeed live in them, and there none to nice. They call themselves the madcaps. They tend to have giant forks or spoons as weapons. and there quick. Very quick." Alice began leading them slowly down the canyon. it wasn't long until they suddenly heard banging, and suddenly madcaps began to appear from within some of the teacups. "ready yourselves.. do not attack first, wait until they do. they are quick but clumsy. hit them in the back. weakest point..."

Alice game the others some space as the first madcap appeared and waited patiently, the creature eying her as they circled one another. Suddenly it raised a giant fork and rushed her. Alice leaped sideways as the madcap missed, stumbling out of balance. A dash and a quick plunge or her vorpal blade made short work of the creature, renewing her stains once more. Slowly but surely a grin grew across her face and she began to recite a verse...

Suki smiled, finished her soup, "Fire is your strongest element then?" She asked

"Aye... though sometimes i wish not..." Brandons face seemed to darken a bit, his eyes glazing over for a moment as the ruins of his old home appeared in his head for a moment. He shook his head to get away from the memory. "I know a bit about the others, though theres not much i can do. I know i can collect water from the air and ground, which has definitely helped me survive my travels. i can control the movement of the air around me enough to stay cool or heat up, and i can do a decent bit with earth. The most ive been able to do at once was shape som stone into a temporary armor, although ive no clue how i did it." Brandon chuckled

another came in, and Brandon sat in silence as they talked, listening to the conversation. The eye shift was the thing that stood out most. it was almost similar to something he had experienced....

finally he spoke. "Ven? if i may call you that? ive a question... Have you ever heard a voice within your head that was not your own? almost like it was in the back of your head? im not asking to be funny or to say your crazy, im asking to... compare i guess.?"
Brandon looked at him, obviouse curiosity there, but a sort of worry that seemed to be hiding behind it...
Kerrigan stood and walked over next to the small girl. "Don't waste your energy." she let out a small laugh. "i think you'd be better off saving it in case we get into a fight dont you think? Jason isn't the only person out here you know." Kerrigan popped her earpiece back in and scanned the frequencies for a moment and caught a muttered word of 'target sighted'. Her rifle was still out and from where they were there was only two different spots that they could be. Her rifle zipped up and her guess on the first location was right, followed by a single shot. "you know, even as powerful as you are," she lowered her gun and looked at Jason, "you still need to be careful. And as flustered as you are right now, your not doing that as well as im sure you can be." Kerrigans eyes lit up for a moment, an idea forming. "ok, look, you may not trust me, but i may know a place we can go for now. There's a house about a mile from here, its never used except for vacations my parents go on. or used to anyway. its been empty for a few years now. we could go there for now and get all of these G0hsts of our back. I don't feel like dying any more then you do remember? and besides, im almost as wanted as you now" she chuckled. "their top sniper just back-stabbed them... how ironic..."
no problem, ive been a bit busy myself ^^
Brandon chuckled. "definitely better then how i came to be here." Brandon then pulled out a small piece of charred wood, and pressed a finger into it. a small flame appeared on his finger as he singed the wood. He caught th small wisp of smoke and inhaled it, sighing happily. "Ah, hickory. My favorite smell."
Brandon's eating slowed to munching on a piece of bread as he mulled over what he knew so far. Of the little he knew, one thing that stood out was that judging by what he had seen so far maybe he could finally have a place to call home.

"so, suki, how did you come to this place?"
Alice nodded and headed off, making sure Lin and Hez followed. After leaving the city Alice followed what appeared to be a path of small broken stones. However after a few moments it became quite obvious that these were not stones, but bits and pieces of pottery and dishes. after about a minute of walking, the arrived at a gigantic iron gate. the was nothing around it. it simply stood at the end of the path. alone and foreboding.
"Ready yourselves. Ive not a clue who we may encounter, nor if they will decide to be friendly. Do, however, avoid speaking to anything that tries to speak to you. They can play word games occasionally or mess with your mind unknowingly." Alice turned and held out her blade, barely a speck compared to the gate, and tapped on the split of the door. Immediately it began to swing open without a sound, allowing them access to the world within.
as soon as they entered it was obvious Alice had become confused. they seemed to be in a canyon of sorts, gigantic tea cups scattered among the walls and a few even big enough to seem like small houses. "I.. Ive not seen this place before..." Alice's face seemed to brighten a bit as she thought that maybe she could finally find the artifact that had eluded her all this time...
Alice nodded, brightening a tad. "good, as long as she's good to go when we get there then she should be fine. first, ill need to give you something." Alice fished out some string and two small stone tablets from her pocket and fashioned them into necklaces. pulling out a small black charcoal, she drew a symbol on each. "here. you and hez should each wear one of these. I've an odd feeling that they may come in handy. Madness spreads easily in the horror. those will keep it from spreading it to you. i remember a creature that managed to get in once went insane just by being there. Better safe then sorry."
