Current As a certain murderous android would say in the worst film of a good trilogy, "I'm back."

Raisa calmed down after hearing the assurance of her superior. Grinning abashedly and letting herself catch her breath, she noticed another man next to her, who she hadn't seen before. "Good morning miss." he said. Noticing his friendly, comfortable smile, she blushed (as much as a fox can do so..) and hastily stood upright.

"I'm sorry sir, I didn't greet you!" She immediately suspected the worst and threw an apology at him as she made a straight salute. "I'll accept whatever complaint you might have of my behavior, SIR!" Raisa continued to remain in her salute, her eyes closed, until, warily opening her eyes, she looked at the man. It was only now that she remarked that he hadn't been smiling at her expense, but as a friendly gesture. Turning even redder, now comparable to the color of the interior of a watermelon, she snapped out of the salute and uttered a quiet greeting and question. "...good morning... who might you be..?"

As she awaited her response, she fidgeted slightly, tugging on a part of her uniform. There goes first impressions. For good. Murdered. Burned. Not coming back. She silently chastised herself in her head for her previous actions as she made a bothered expression.
Okay, I get it.

Think of this as Faceless 2.0, improved, less teens, less arrogance and more thought put into the setting!

Heads up Silver I think I am waiting on Rafale... Are we to skip the settling stage since you made a post without us making our arrangements and drop our stuff off?

Sorry, I'll get a post up.

YES! I'm INTERESTED!

Well, I'm split on both: The AC inspired or the AC itself

I've only played AC6(I actually have it and I'm completing my second playthrough! and the demo of AC:AH

I'll probably use the AC world. I'll make sure to stick a bit of history in the OOC so you can have everything before AC6 (I'll use the history from Aces at War: A History, which has a timeline leading up the events of AC6)

I don't see the list of nations referred to in the skeleton, nor the list of starter aircrafts. Is it only available once the OOC is up?

I'm still deciding on those, so I'll have the aircraft ready when the OOC is up. Nations, just choose something from Strangereal (Osea, Yuktobania...). I'll give you the liberty to choose whatever you like. ;)

Very interested. I was in a fighter pilot RP on the old Guild for a bit and it was quite fun.

I can't help but feel I've heard of this RP before (*coughcoughfaceless14coughcough*)...
Yay, more interest! I'll get to work on the OOC shortly.

Work has begun. I just finished the character sheet and I'm now starting to work on the setting and rules.
If anyone wants to work on their character in advance, here's the sheet:
Don't worry, you can join. You'll have to do a very small bit of research but it's quite easy to get a hold on. We're talking Ace Combat here, so it should be very easy to a hold of and besides, we'll only be operating at squadron level; all the technical Air Force stuff will be handled by a CO (me).

I'll put a small bit of info on the OOC regarding air-to-air combat, with a few simple explanations of terms and other things on the subject, if it helps. ;)
Exactly what it says in the title. How interested would some of you guys be for an Ace Combat RP, or an Ace Combat inspired RP?
If you have any questions, ask and I'll answer. I just woke up, so I'm not really feeling awake enough to make a full explanation, but I can answer any questions you have.
"Crap. Crap. CRAAAP!" Vulgarities, irregularities, escaped from Raisa's mouth as she attempted to the navigate the interior of the land-cruiser. Wiping the fatigue from her eyes and wearing an urgent expression, she ran up stairs, throwing salutes at every man or woman she passed, not having time to look at rank. Breathing heavily, she turned a corner and ran up some stairs to get to the deck of the land-cruiser, just in time to see her comrades leaving. "Oh, you're kidding me!" She uttered as she ran up to whom she suspected was her commanding officer. Standing in front of him, she spoke clearly while delivering a salute. "Efreitor -erm- Private Raisa Yurievna Biryukova reporting as part of an exchange program, sir!" She messed up on her rank, using the Iyulian rank instead of the Landren equivalent, but quickly corrected herself. "Sorry being late. I guess it doesn't make for a great first impressions, huh?" Keeping the salute, she cracked a joke in an attempt to keep the man from going too berserk on her.

As she awaited her response, she reflected on the events that led up to her being late for the meeting...

It turns out that Iyulian GEAR seats are exceedingly comfortable. Dangerously so. Shortly after her Flanker's arrival in Landren, Raisa had decided to check on the machine after being loaded onto the flatbed that would transfer it to the land-cruiser. Climbing aboard despite it being in shackles to keep it from falling off, she discovered upon entry into the cockpit that she was more than a little tired from the trip over. It was thus that she found herself falling asleep as she sat in the seat of the machine, and it was thus that she didn't even notice the flatbed beginning its move to the land-cruiser. Of course, by this point, she was fast asleep and would spend the rest of the trip in the GEAR, instead in one of the official transports. Due to this, she wasn't awoken until a mechanic discovered her inside the machine when it had been unloaded.

"Crap."

And now we return to the present scene.
Oh God, I suddenly feel late. Expect a post in a bit.
Honestly though, I have the worst writer's block right now. All I feel like doing is to play Persona and eat pizza.
HOWEVER.
I will post!
Because it is my duty!
ONWARD FOR GREAT JUSTICE.

Also, Ashers' bewbies. I missed them.
And there goes all my credibility around here.
