Oh I see. Completely understandable reason. Well, you'll be glad to know that during the post forumpocalypse period, I spent a great deal of my time honing my skills on other site's roleplaying section, and most of the time, I didn't get yelled at! ;)

Boy, way to be redundant.

Appearance: Of a very light build, though not too skinny that it looks like she has a medical problem. Not very muscular.

Personal Info

Personality: Easygoing, almost always calm despite her cheerful nature when out of battle, gets riled up into a malicious, excited and otherwise amused state in battle. Seems to treat fighting like a game of sorts, the control team commonly being relegated to the role of counting her kills as she attempts to gain a "high score". Note: her mental state, while she is considered sane, is somewhat... "worrying". Actually quite intelligent, she holds a borderline encyclopedic level knowledge of many subjects.

Likes: Oriental pop-music, anime, technology, video games, collecting scale models, shooting things, killing things, stabbing things, punching things, literature. Also enjoys cooking, eating, sweets and other actions and items pertaining to the consumption of nutrients, sugars, calories, et cetera. Highly enjoys dogfighting, who would have thought?

Dislikes: Sports (doesn't really care for them, but doesn't outright refuse to do them), studying (despite her intelligence...?), enemies that aren't dead, many other small things.
To add to dislikes: THE PERSON WHO WROTE THIS WHOLE THING.

Personal History: Rita has an extremely vague history. There are no official records of parents or legal guardians and even the bare detail of how she got onto Macross is obscure. Every single moment from her birth to the re-appearance of SDF is under a shroud of mystery, with not a single record appearing until during a scheduled maintenance of the record keeping hardware was made. After a few hours, the maintenance ended, but a strange file was found. A record that lacked a signature described a girl known as Rita Suzuki was found, detailing a military service and basic profile. Of note; the date of entry into service section and pre-service background section was corrupt, inciting suspicion. However, after a few investigations, the girl was indeed found in a Variable Fighter unit.
Her comrades said she had been introduced to them by an apparent superior, though no record of this superior, an enigmatic Commander Volikov, was ever found. After this, suspicions were high, and Rita only managed to remain with the unit after rigorous aptitude testing, where she proved to be highly adept at using at least three varieties of Variable Fighter. After giving a date of entry into service (which, bizarrely, was unable of registering into the records, along with the history. File corruption is cited as a the most probable cause), she began doing operations with the rest of the unit.
While her comrades found her skills nothing less than impressive, significant worry was made to her lone-wolf attitude and her... somewhat questionable humanity...

Mecha: VF-1A, formerly flew a VF-1D during aptitude testing.

Weapons and equipment:
-Carries a MP-443 Grach as a sidearm, it is unknown how or where she got it. Her only firearm, she doesn't carry anything other than it and her combat knife. Oddly enough, she seems to have a personal attachment to it.
-Keeps a pair of silver Bluetooth headphones on her at all times.
-Smartphone.
-A small, unmarked book, contents unknown to all but her.

Just one question before I continue working on the character (I've decided against going with four, it would be a bit too much for this type of game); how long has it been since SDF re-appeared and how long was the journey?

Also, I'll take a look at the OVA series, thanks for the recommendation!

Along A Different Path (Robotech/Macross inspired anthro-optional RP)

Working on my character now. I'm thinking of loosely basing her off of the female voice in this trailer, though it's really just inspiration. Love what you've done though, Silver, making Macross understandable for someone like me who's only ever seen three mecha anime; Evangelion, Infinite Stratos (lol) and Valvrave, and not a single episode of Macross/Robotech (too many episodes to watch, not enough time).

You can expect it to be done by the end of the evening. Since exams are coming up, I don't have much homework and I'm pretty confident on my knowledge of the subjects, giving me a lot of time to work. ;)
