everybody puts Fionn in a corner

Jebus, the day is going by fast.
Way to go octopus head. You killed Agni and now we don't have a sun guardian. except for Fionn, but he's a wuss
Cassandra was practicing scanning magical objects when her phone rang and distracted her long enough for the spell to fizzle completely. "Oh… well, six times out of ten aren't bad." she gathered her supplies and put them away before checking her phone for any messages. The clean up took about twenty minutes, and when she checked her phone she realized she should have moved faster, because it was a call from Max. He probably had a case and they had been waiting on her at that coffee shop and everyone was already assembled and she was the last to arrive and they would be mad and-

She took a breath to push out her panic. If she hurried to the shop now, regardless if she looked a little like she'd been climbing in a chimney, she could still almost make the meeting. She quickly grabbed her jacket and locked her door, running down the street both because it was close, and because she refused to buy a car. At last she reached the door and quietly opened it.

She walked over to the table, sitting down in the nearest open spot. She looked like she was on the verge of tears. "I'm sorry that I'm late. I didn't mean to and time got away from me and suddenly you called but I didn't think it was a case so I just put all of my spell supplies away and then I heard the message and ran here." she spoke very quickly and when she finished she was nearly hiding under the table. "I'm sorry… don't be mad…"
Hikari opened her mouth to say a snide comment, but looked at Sparkplug and shut her mouth. "Thanks Gator Boy," she said, pushing past him and into the simulator room. It was going to be difficult to try and build a relationship with those guys. Namely because she wasn't all that interested in one. She could try, but sooner or later it would all just fall apart.
Gonna fix her history a little then post. You said it sounded a bit too fantasy themed, so I'll try to modernize it as best I can.
Oh, I wasn't checking, thank you. I'm sorry if I sounded rude, I just wasn't sure you were seeing the form.
"Oh, uh, sure. We could definitely stop. I've already eaten, so go ahead. I'm gonna make. Quick stop for something anyway. I'll be right back." Jak smiled and waved as she walked towards the end of the street. A flower vendor was there, bright green leaves waving back at her. Jak kept walking, humming to herself, moving her bangs out of her face again. It seemed like another quiet day, but something was amiss. Sure it was summer, but the feeling of being watched wasn't from tourists. Something was out of place, but she couldn't tell what exactly.

She rubbed her neck and shrugged it off. It wasn't like she looked like a delinquent with her sports bag over her shoulder and the bottom of the bat sticking out just enough so that she could pull it free in an emergency. At last she reached the flower vendor. He had just about everything, orchids, roses, and even a few hyacinths. Jak scanned for one color in particular, and picked a batch of purple hyacinths out of the bunch. She fumbled around for her wallet and quickly paid for them. She made a few jokes with the vendor, and left, carefully placing the flowers in her bag, just in front of the bat and other gear. Jakki sighed and sat down just outside the café staring at the sky. She could probably go in and grab something to eat as well, but she didn't feel hungry. She didn't really feel anything, just kind of empty inside. She was taking the scenic route to avoid going home for too long. It felt empty there too, and her mother wasn't helping, with her insistences that he was still alive and fighting.

Jak laid back and just tried to relax. Today was a warm summer day, and the sun was eye-searingly bright. There was no way she was going to go back to being gloomy on a day like this. She started to hum another song, closing her eyes and leaning back in her chair as she waited for Abby.
Oh, um, I never was told wether or not Cassandra was accepted.
e.e Attack on titan opening...? I'm now super suspicious.
