Jak pulled herself off the ground just in time to see Daisuke explode in a puff of pink smoke. Jak sat, open mouthed, as she contemplated how the whole thing had happened. Had Sonya done that? Her answer came quickly, as Daisuke -or maybe his older brother- rose out of the smoke. Flipping pancakes. Sonya quickly explained the Ten-Year Bazooka, but Jak was still dumbfounded. Daisuke wasn't dead, but older. Then Vector appeared from the shadows and Jak snapped back into reality. Her eyes had a hard light to them now, as if she were about to yell at the man.

She didn't say anything, however. Didn't Sonya say that Vector had something to do with the fire the other day? Jak tried to remember, but she was currently keeping her rage in check. She bit the inside of her cheek and looked away from Vector. He'd destroyed the festival. Burned everything she she had known for years and years and years to the ground, and on top of that was berating his son. Jak didn't have anything to say to him. So she pulled out her popsicle stick and began chewing on it, trying to keep her mouth busy so she didn't make a scene. Let the anger wash away... let it wash away before I lose my temper Jak knew that she stood as good a chance against Vector as a snowball on asphalt during summer.
Mira DiAngelo preferred wearing men's suits over dressy gowns. For one, she could wear her hero suit under it and people would be none the wiser. Of course, she still had to contend with stares and silent judging, but if they decided to do anything stupid. she might report them to the police. Regular people weren't her problem. She was here just to see her predecessors and 'admire' them. Whatever that meant. Most people passed her by, which was Mira's intentions. She preferred to have a quiet moment studying over a long, boring, conversation.

Her peace was interrupted by a curious passerby. "Oh, you're one of those new x-men, ain't cha?"

"Yes." Mira checked her watch. She affixed when she met this man in her head by time and date. It was habit of hers.

"So, you related to onna dem guys up on display?" the man asked.

"I am related to Rogue, if you must ask," a possible lie. Mira's roots could be traced back through her father, but so far she had been unsuccessful as to who her mother was. It was easier to claim to be related to a hero than to someone who was not. "Kindly go away. I have to study for a test tomorrow."

The man looked irritated at Mira's cold demeanor, but left. Mira sighed and went back to looking briefly at the plaques under the various sections. She'd study them later, but for now it seemed that Spiderman was meeting with the older Peter Parker outside. Mira watched, uninterested. If he's such a big fan, how come he hasn't visited him before? next came Iron Man and his daughter. Mira had little interest in her name, even if she could just recall it. Mira walked back inside, debating whether or not to pull out her book or watch one of the various documentaries that were on display. Mira touched the little X on the corner of her jacket, identifying her as an x-man member -even though the x-men were mostly disbanded these days- so that others could ask her questions about how they were doing these days. Most of the other students couldn't make it, as they needed to study. Mira, as far as she knew, was the lone representative.
Well. I hope that you join, Kal-El, cuz I wanna call you Superman.
As Nora climbed up the steps, she was trying to figure out the downside of being a Magic Knight. Magic powers, she could wish to never die -but word the wish way more carefully, if she said that, she'd stay thirteen forever, and that would be a bummer- and fight monsters. There really wasn't any better offer. Nora tried to imagine her Magic Knight armor as she walked, and wondered if it would be black. She liked black.

Then they reached the roof. The girl there was decked out in dark colors and a fancy school uniform. Nora noticed the jewel on her hand just as the blue haired girl next to her stupidly asked if she was Qubus. Yes, that is exactly what a magical white ferret would look like if it was human. Nora silently replied to the dumb question. The girl was obviously a Magic Knight, which they would be when they made their wishes. She wondered if she should be concerned about what the others were going to wish for. Nora decided that it didn't matter to her.

Nora was straight faced until the girl called them fools. When she did, Nora smiled. She was calling them fools when she made the same choice they did. To escape the bland dumbness that was living and dying. Nora had no assumptions that she'd be tough, but she had every intention to survive. She always survived, and now she had the chance to live and she wasn't about to let this slip away from her. Nora started to laugh, at first trying to muffle it with her hand, then just giving in and laughing until she fell to her knees.

"If we're fools, then you must be the jester of the whole darned thing! I mean, you chose this like us and now you're just scared to be out of a job now that we're on the scene!" Nora laughed and laughed, until she regained her mask. "Don't worry, I'll try not to fight side by side with you. Wouldn't want to show my seniors up."

Nora hoped that her outburst wouldn't be answered by a magic blast that would kill her. It was just… this girl was so serious, but the situation was ironic. A Magic Knight telling them that they were fools for making the same choice as her. Nora wondered what the other girl had wished for, if she was calling them fools and whatnot.
I agree. While interaction is nice, it's just mindless prattle that serve no purpose right now.

Name:
Mira DiAngelo

Alias:
Copycat

Age:
17

Powers:
Power Mimicry- Mira can use up to two powers she has stored at once, but this is her limit. If she wished to use a third power, she'd have to stop using another. For example, if she wanted to fly and use telekinesis, but has to use super strength to hold off a punch, then she has to either stop using telekinesis or flying. Any power she has not seen one year from the first time she's seen it will be unusable. This power can only copy anything for a mutation. Magic, technology, and peak conditioning cannot be copied.

Action Copy- If someone does an action such as punching, Mira can copy the form and strength of the punch. However, she can also use powers while doing an Action Copy. However, she needs to have seen and can use the ability being used. If she needs to conjure a fire sword to use the move being shown, then she will mimic the movements of the person, but it will not be as effective.

Self-sustained Flight- Mira does not need to copy someone using flight in order to use this power. She can fly as high or as fast as a normal human body can withstand. She is subject to cold and lack of oxygen when flying as well, meaning she cannot fly as high as an airplane without having to withstand negative effects.

Hyperthymesia- Mira can remember every moment of her life with perfect clarity. However, even if she does remember a power because of her condition, it will be unusable if she hasn't seen it been used in a year. Mira cannot use her memory to recall Action Copies, but she can emulate them on her own in time.

Weaknesses:
- Cannot re-use any Action Copies from the day before the current one. Action Copies can only be used for one day.
-Can only use two powers at a time, regardless if they are copied or not.
-Minimal experience using other's powers, so she is not nearly as experienced using them.
-Cannot use mutations if she has not seen them in a year.
-Can't copy anything that is not a mutation. I.E. Magic, technology, or peak human conditioning.

Personality:
Intelligent, quiet, and always knows more than she lets on.

Appearance:

Brief bio:
Mira was left in the Foster Care system at an early age, but before long she was assigned to a family. She grew up normally, but it soon became apparent that she was not average. Her parents worried that she was a mutant, but when taken to a doctor, it was discovered that she had Hyperthymesia. The parents, after much reassurance, were told that it was not a mutation from the x-gene.

As if to somehow prevent any mutations form appearing, her foster family repeatedly informed her of the dangers of mutants, and how they were going to kill all the normal people, and she was already different enough to warrant people wanting to not be near her, so she should never try to 'touch others with her dirty freak hands'. Mira quickly distanced herself from people, preferring to sit in corners alone than be talking to other people.

When middle school started, Mira soon discovered that she could mimic people in the television perfectly. She hid this fact from her 'parents' and continued practicing with her powers. She was soon confronted by a pack of bullies, believing her a cheater when she always received a perfect score on every test she took. Mira, cornered and afraid for her safety, recalled a martial arts movie she'd seen recently and quickly dispatched the bullies. The bullies called her a 'mutant freak' and within minutes, the whole school found out she was a mutant.

Afraid for her life, Mira ran home, packed everything she owned -which wasn't much-, and ran away. She didn't get far before running ion yet another mutant. This one seemingly could move very, very fast. He used his speed to attempt to rob her, but Mira accidentally activated her own powers, and ran away from the speedster. She was halfway across the city before she realized what she had just done.

She tried to recall anything about mutants, but the only thing she knew for sure about mutants was that they all went to some kind of school. After more digging, she used her new speed power to run all the way to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. It was later discovered that she was the daughter of Mimic, though they are uncertain of his alliance. Most X-men remember Mimic as a villain, and unfortunately for Mira, she had to work her way back up through the ranks to earn respect and trust. She eventually earned it, but most other young mutants still call her the 'pity case' or the 'mistake waiting to happen'.

Over time she learned how to use her ability better and was recently allowed to go off campus to perform missions or patrol for supervillians.

Notes:
Mira doesn't need glasses, but she likes wearing them.
Related to Mimic, but her powers are altered in scope.
It could totally be both of them, actually. I looked into Mimic little more it appears Rogue may have gotten along with Mimic fairly well.

Rogue was the one who stuck out to me actually...

I know. However, I just can't see her being related to Rogue. Also, I'd have to rewrite her history for the third time. If you want me to change her to Rogue, I'll do it though.
The choice of Mimic was influenced how close his powers were to Mira's, actually.
There we go. She's now related to Mimic.

@raindash is she actually related to a ex-x-men? I don't just want OCs but ones based on specific marvel heroes.

I couldn't think of one in particular. I'll work on it some more and come back to you, then.
