Red's eyes widened and his ears shot up. "H-hey, Blue!" the ginger tom raced after the she-cat. "Whoa, whoa, WHOA! Repeat that! I didn't have enough time to process that!"

Red's purring stopped after Blue's comment. He flattened his ears. "O-oh. . ." An image of a two lovely she-cats popped in his head, one was light brown with darker brown speckles and emerald green eyes while the other was a slender, sleek-furred silver tabby.

"O' 'course! You can tell me anything, kitty~" Red purred, curious to what the gray she-cat had to say.

Red winked at the no-longer-nervous she-cat. "Good to hear."

"C'mon, what's wrong? Why so shy all of a sudden!" he purred loudly.

Red turned to see who had bumped into his glorious self him, slightly annoyed. His annoyances flew away like a bird migrating when he saw it was only Blue. He smirked at the she-cat. "How-do-you do, Blue?" he purred.

Red padded towards the sound of the rushing stream that he loved oh-so-much. Once he reached the rushing water, he sat at the edge and stared into the water, every once in a while spotting the glisten of a fish's scales.

History- Red was an ordinary cat- some called him a rouge, some a loner. He liked the term 'loner' better. While wondering through the forest one day, he saw a beautiful she-cat that had brown fur and darker brown speckles on her. Her emerald green eyes shone in the sunlight like a thousand stars. They became close and, eventually, the she-cat (who's name was Leaf) had his kits. Unfortunately, the only kit was a still-born and Leaf died of blood-loss. Since her death, every night before he goes to sleep, he stares into the sky and talks to the stars, as if she and his kit could hear him.
