Bio
Here's a list of things about me if you want to know a little bit more. Though if you actually want to get to know me, send me a PM, or talk over the OOC chat.
1. I don't generally like roleplays where my characters are forced to be serious 100% of the time; mostly because that's not how actual people work.
2. Yes, I use anime pictures for appearances. I've come to like anime less and less over the years, and personally only ever watch the movies now, and that's on incredibly rare occasions. I personally like using those over actual people faces, because people have too many specific details, and I can never find people faces that match the description I want. If you would like, I can use a text description instead.
3. I generally like to make 'pairs' of characters. Either characters that seriously contrast with each other, or work together really well but still have arguments and problems.
4. I've been forum roleplaying for just about 5 years now, and I've been tabletop roleplaying for 11 years now. I still suck at roleplaying despite being a 12 year veteran, but, what're you gonna do?
5. I really enjoy talking to people. Yes, society has gone downhill, but despite that I find serious enjoyment out of talking to people about anything. So, if I'm in an RP with you, just chat away with me. We can talk about mundane things, or go all-out on serious topics. I don't think I've come across a single person I've hated talking to, even if they were somewhat irritating or annoying. So please PM me, or just talk OOC.
6. I flipping love Inside Out, and as such, if you ever make an RP based around it, please invite me. I promise to behave of course. If one isn't made though, you know very well that I'll make my own, and I'll try my hardest to make it the best RP possible. Or, if you just want to talk about Inside Out, I'd love to do that as well.
7. Please make good characters. I understand Advanced Roleplayer's over on that section have no problem with this, but I don't like RPing over there. When I'm on casual roleplay, not many seem to care a whole lot about making good characters. They just make walking cliche's to get into an RP, and then completely change that character as the RP barely starts. It's annoying, lazy, and doesn't really make me want to accept you if I'm GM or co-GM.
Characters are the literal heart and soul of roleplaying, and should be treated as such. If you make your characters card-board cut-outs, it only tells me that you either don't care, are lazy, or that we absolutely need a moderate roleplay section on the forums to bridge the gap between posting 1-2 paragraphs with barely any work put into characters, and posting 6-8 paragraphs with enormously deep backstories, love, and care, put into characters.
8. I am a caring and nice guy, so don't be afraid to talk to me about anything. I'm fairly hard to offend, and even harder to make mad. I seriously enjoy getting to know my fellow members, so talk whenever you feel like it.
So there were 4 lyoko warriors, I don't know if that includes Jeremie because if it does then that's 5 lyoko warriors. Then there were only a few other people who actually knew about it but never actually went in or did much. I'm 100% okay with having more of an 'extra' character. Arndt already doesn't seem to be making much ties with anyone else, so his chances of finding out about Lyoko are close to none right now. Unless a warrior or two leaves, I'm fine with him just being a friend or a person who gets caught up in the mix from time to time rather than someone who fights X.A.N.A. and all that.
I clearly need lessons on how to do puns correctly. How am I ever expected to be an RPer without learning the basic comedy of puns?
Everyone's dropping this RP like flies. Or you could say Merman, abandoned ship. But really, only two people leaving is kind of a blessing. I've had good RPs where nearly everyone left either because of a disagreement or someone posted out of turn accidentally. Which are kind of lame reasons, but they happen nonetheless.
I never take drop-outs personally, normally because it's either that they're in a lot of RPs and are just dropping out of the less interesting ones, or they plan on making their own RP which requires more attention and less time for other RPs. It's sad to see people go, especially if you have limited slots or they were kind of the glue of the group. Thankfully we're only just starting, so it doesn't effect us too badly.
I don't know how you would honestly say goodbye to a fish person. Maybe like, may aquaman guide your journeys, or something like that. I dunno, it was a failed pun.
I'll just have it be a running gag that Arndt thinks everyone is french at first. Oh snap, and apparently shaking hands is actually a French custom. The wonders a quick google search can come up with.

Though Arndt didn't quite laugh when Mike did, Arndt did wonder how the two of them miraculously got paired to be roommates together. He brushed it off when seeing a larger man headed down the hall towards them. The man named Jim looked somewhat intimidating, yet kind at the same time. Arndt just sort of stood until he noticed the student from before speak up, and Arndt went into thought. _It's the person that I caught a glimpse of before. Looks like he's being shown around by that big guy. Gotta remember not to screw up first impressions._ Arndt took a breath and replied, "bonjour, I er, saw you before. Kinda sucks to have that happen on the first day of the new school year, but what can you do? Oh, and my name's Arndt by the way." Arndt stuck out his hand in greeting, hoping to at least have the guy feel somewhat comfortable with him.

Arndt waited a bit against a hall after his registration for Mike to go in and come out, and because Mike wasn't a new student, Arndt ended up waiting a while. When Mike came out he looked a little excited for some reason, but Arndt didn't question him on it. "So let's get going then, wouldn't want to miss checking out my room. By the way, the principle didn't tell me who i was getting paired up with when I accepted a roommate. Does that usually happen, or is the school kinda disorganized today? Anyways, lead the way." Arndt moved away from the wall for a bit and stretched, ready to follow Mike's lead.
I'll just skip straight past registration if that's alright. Let's just say that Arndt agreed to having a roommate, and now him and Mike are touring around.
Also, I'm caught up now, so I know what's going on. A teeny time skip with Arndt won't effect much.
