Things done on this website aside, what do you like to do for fun?

I enjoy reading and writing a lot (what a nerd). Actually, I'm a very social person and enjoy being around people, especially new people. In general, I like going new places and having new experiences. Before I came to school I used to horseback ride a lot, but then I had to sell my horse because I couldn't continue to support him and pay tuition, though I'd like to get back into it after I graduate.

More recently I've started playing Magic the Gathering with the guys, and that's a lot of fun, though I don't have anywhere near there level of experience/years of card collecting so I always lose, but I enjoy it nonetheless. Video games are always great too.

That of a journalist, or anthropologist. I do get the urge to influence/change the hearts and minds of people, but it's never in a certain direction. I just want to offer people different perspectives (like mine sometimes, naturally), or even just offer them the right catalyst to broaden their perspectives. It's all about shifting the way you see things to kind of open up different ideas and take away some of the black & white certainty about things.Also I don't really like going in somewhere and trying to change the makeup of the situation. I like to observe patterns and dynamics and see how they change overtime, without my interference. I find that kind of change extremely interesting. Plus my writing style tends to be dispassionate/dry like a journalist, the depersonalized style always suited me more.

Yet you seem to be such a personable person.

Originally that wasn't my intention, but apparently that's how I came across to everyone and instead of correcting them I thought it was funny to just let everyone assume. I've always had more of a tomboyish personality anyway, so I don't really like being thought of as a "girl". That doesn't mean I'm not comfortable in my femininity, I am, I'm just a lot less feminine than most women. You should have seen how shocked my friends at college were when they found out I owned a dress.

Ah well, all good things come to an end I suppose.
