How many sheets have you received thus far?

Five so far.

Is this something similar to the SCP Foundation? If so, my pants are already unzipped.Either way, I'm really diggin' this. Assuming you've already received character sheets, are there any particular archetypes you're looking for?

It is somewhat similar I suppose.

Hm, perhaps a forensic scientist/data analyst. I've yet to receive a character who is or was actually a police officer. It's totally up to you of course. The submissions I've gotten so far have given me quite a variety to work with already. Choose something you think you'd be comfortable with and you'd enjoy and I'll take care of the rest.

IC, I'll be assigning the characters certain roles on the team, their "jobs" if you will. I don't want a character based around any certain position, instead I want you to create a character that can adapt to whatever job I choose to give him or her.
Still recruiting.
Still recruiting players.
Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.
I'm really busy this week I may not get to it till next week.

That first answer helps a lot with the character creation bit.

Perhaps I will add it to the OP.

Would someone who studied folklore and mythology work, but has no abilities himself other than his knowledge and thirst for unnatural occurrences work in this RP?

Yes, but keep in mind not all cases are necessarily rooted in a paranormal cause so that singular skill would not be of use all the time.

See, I just don't know how it's possible for someone to not know what Star Wars is. Like, it's not even a parenting issue, because even if the kid's never seen the actual movies, Star Wars is still EVERYWHERE in media. There are Star Wars products, references and parodies EVERYWHERE YOU GO. If this kid has any access to TV or the internet (and all kids of this generation have an iPhone now so I'd expect them to have internet access) then they can't go very far without running into any Star Wars material.

And I haven't even had TV since I was 9.

As spiderman?I thought you had to be dressed up as a cow.

It actually was "dress like a cow, get a free meal" but I didn't have a cow costume. I did, however, have a Spider-Man costume and a cow t-shirt. Threw on a cowboy hat and some boots and I was ready to go.

I also bought all my friends their food too, so everyone got a free meal.
