Ebola's not exactly a super treatable disease, they only just developed a vaccine for this strain after this outbreak happened. You also can't vaccinate against it yet, and there's different strains of it. The scary part about it is that it takes several days for symptoms to show, and those symptoms could be any number of other common ailments, and if anyone is in contact with you at that point, they run a high risk of infection. You wouldn't know hou had ebola until it's far too late, and the disease has a 90% fatality rate.
