Name: Anton Lawrence

Role: Famous Detective

Personality: Anton is extremely focused and literal and not especially socially adapted. He lives alone in a small run-down flat and unless he is called upon by the police for assistance in the field, prefers to work from the solidarity of his own home. He is exceptional in mathematics and obsessed with solving puzzles, problems, and riddles. He occasionally goes through stages of depression and/or anxiety, usually when he can't find any interesting way to fill his time.
Anton was always considered odd from childhood, (unbeknownst to his time period he was born with Aspergers Syndrome, essentially placing him on the high-functioning end of the Autism spectrum). Though he was quite intelligent he did poorly in school and dropped out of university, and in order to sustain himself began hiring out as a private detective. Work was difficult to find at first, partially due to his lack of social skills and that he lived in a down-and-out neighborhood. He soon gained recognition by word-of-mouth and soon Scotland Yard took notice. His exceptional ability to solve confusing and difficult cases soon made him a valuable asset to the local police, and though he is more than qualified for a position as an official officer he shied away from that in favor of remaining a private detective in order to maintain his antisocial lifestyle.

Description: 5'10" Roughly 140 lbs. Brown hair, brown eyes, no tattoos or piercings. Anton's personal hygiene is normally pretty good, though his is known to go days without bathing or changing his clothes while working out a difficult problem or case. His dress style is a comical mixture of formal and informal wear, all pieces mostly second-hand. He rarely bothers to buy new clothes so even if he happens to create a coordinated outfit it will still appear worn, old, or stained. He never combs his hair and only remembers to shave once in a while.

I have a friend who works a lot of odd jobs and construction, and almost every day he passes homeless people on the street, pulls over, and offers to pay them $10/hour to work for him for the day. Not one of them have ever taken him up on it, they'd rather sit on the side of the road with a sign and hope people throw money at them than do actual work.

So I'm doing a presentation on Karl Marx this Friday

He seems like a pretty interesting dude, I'd have dinner with him.
