Maria was sitting at the foot of her bed playing with the shadows that draped her room in darkness. Hugo was perched on the end of her bed head, his feathery head folded under his wings as he roosted, his golden gaze hidden from view. he flickered and faded now and again as the shadows he came from shifted inside of him like black smoke confined in a glass Jar

Maria was kneeling on the floor so rounded by her collection of stuffed rabbits and bears of all shapes and sizes. all made with similar materials, Black or gray fuzz with two black buttons sown on for eyes; usually different sizes as well. the particular bunny she held was no bigger than a cat and it had a pair of tailor sizzors pronouncing form a rather nasty gash in its back. white stuffing poufing out like an open wound.
but Maria clutched it to her chest with a grin on her face, slightly swaying as she sang to fill the silence that had settled like an uneasy fog.

Appearance

History: born as the only female to one of the noble family of her tribe. Grew up in the grove with her kin in the forest of gold, and spent most of her eleven years training with her trusted long sword. many of her tribe doubted her for many century's because she was a Female. they though because that she wasn't tall and strong that she posed no threat and it is because of this that spends a lot of her time outside the boundary of her tribe and wanders the forest. her cold outer attitude was built to protect her from sneering eyes. despite her noble blood she often those this title away to help those who are kind to her like the children of the tribe. and she sneaks out a lot, sometimes meeting a few Elves from different clans and tribes. being born in the time of the winter moon meant that she was destined to become a warrior and she was proud to call herself a swords woman despite what her people said. (usually turning the sword on them if they insult her family honorer).

Maria Ran though the streets like a jack rabbit jumping over street carts and ducking under tables laughing and the wind she picked up flurried someone dress. the darkness of the streets alleyway were pretty good for fast travel but soon her little legs got tired and she began to walk at a more normal pace.
" big brother" she sang to herself "come out come out were every you are?"
many people on the streets stopped to say hello to the young princess but the ether said little more then a hello and the hid behind something. they giggled and walked on.
more than once Hugo would sweep from the shadows the land on Maria's shoulder glaring behind her as an invitation to any mistrusting people.

Maria walked to a stop at a restrunt that Jurano often came to when he was wandering the city.
"Hmm" she said "i bet his in here"
"caw Caw' Hugo said as he flew to land on the roof above them
she skipped up to the door but caught her brother talking to someone.
she ran up and hugged him from behind
he chuckled and continued his conversation
Maria peeked around to see who he was talking to.
"Oh.....its the Freak......" she said turning her nose up at Otaku.
