Take your time.
It is Grant Ward not Grand Ward.

So, who is starting out already with the team?

Rivera should be recruited to bail out the team, especially if it is a mission that involves saving puppies and kittens or something like that.
lightdarknight said At what rate can it form new nanites from raw material, how long does it take to form a new shape (i.e., sword, gun, new arm)
Depends on the material, organics is extremely slow, metals are faster, incredibly weak materials (i.e. t-shirts) are convertable but the effort and time it takes to make them durable isn't worth it.

lightdarknight said and how durable/damage resistant is the new construct?
Once the material is converted there is no distinguishing one nanite from another.

lightdarknight said My hesitation is that she is basically immortal
No more immortal than any typical comic book character that Mavel or DC killed and brought back to life.

lightdarknight said indestructible
If Cyber was indestructable there would be no need to leave a piece behind in case of destruction. That would be illogical. An EMP could permanently disable her, that is not indestructible.

lightdarknight said and capable of nearly any form of combat and skill(genius level intellect and all).
Only if Cyber bothers to learn it, if Cyber doesn't see the need to learn something Cyber will not ever possess that knowledge. I actually made her stupider than I originally created her.

lightdarknight said Also, if it is emotionless, why does it feel annoyed my the sound of sirens?
Some things require your undivided attention, sirens would divide that attention thus ruining whatever it was. It's like how golfers don't like people making noise when they are making a shot or a put. Also grating doesn't have to involve emotions.

lightdarknight said A character like that would have a hard time feeling empathy towards the other members of its team
Cyber would never be able to feel empathy for anyone ever.

lightdarknight said and would be unable to form relationships.
Data from Star Trek The Next Generation tv series and movies would disagree with that statement.

lightdarknight said Seen the movie Transcendent?
Never seen Transcendence (that is the actual name) didn't look appealing, seemed like a ripoff of The Lawnmower Man movie and it's sequel.

lightdarknight said Reminds me of Will Caster. He can't be destroyed and is able to overcome any opposition without any problems whatsoever using nanites much like Cybers.
I just read about the movie. Your assessment of the movie is completely off. Will Caster didn't survive the movie, so I don't see how Will fell under the category of 'can't be destroyed' or 'able to overcome any opposition without any problems whatsoever'.

lightdarknight said She seems more like an all powerful being than a teen crime fighter.
Any entity that is a teenager that fights crime is a teen crime fighter regardless of abilities, powers, or success.

Name: Thomas Rivera

Nicknames:

Role: The Hitter

Gender: Male

Age: 40

Appearance: http://stuffpoint.com/arrow/image/216480-arrow-manu-bennett-slade-wilson.jpg

Personality: Rivera is angry all the time. His temper is hot and extremely dangerous. Fortunately, he is also a master of control. Although he can be prodded to frustration and annoyance fairly easily, it takes a concerted effort to drive him to all out anger. Once that happens, all hell breaks loose.

Early on, Rivera learned to channel his massive temper into controlled, directed bursts of violence used for a purpose. In spite of his early years as an assassin, he now prefers to leave his opponents alive whenever possible. That doesn't mean he won't hesitate to kill if he feels he has to in order to survive or to protect someone he cares for.

The list of people he cares about is short. His word is his bond. It takes quite a lot to impress Rivera and even more to earn his trust. Once his trust is earned, he would follow you right into the gates of Hell if necessary.

He is an animal lover and extremely protective of children. He does not like guns, although he is an expert in their use. He is also highly intelligent, although he plays his intelligence down in most situations. Being underestimated, more often than not, plays to his advantage.

Skills: Master level chef
Fighting Sytles: Boxing, Muay Thai, Jujitsu, Krav Maga, Kickboxing, eskrima, panantuken, Kenpo Karate (7th Degree Black Belt), and Aikido (5th Degree Black Belt)
Intentionally does what is necessary to give an impression that he is weaker than he is
Skilled swordsman
Strategist
Accurate throwing ability whether its darts or pebbles.
Knife expert
Skilled Marksman

Weaknesses: Despises most technology
Highly paranoid
Susceptible to neurolinguistic programming

Bio: He lived a remarkably boring life. He showed absolutely no signs of interest in military service. Then one day he disappeared without a word. After several years he joined a black ops program that worked closely with the CIA, at that point most of his official file becomes blacked out. His last mission was fubar from the get go. He was the only survivor but he allowed them to think he was dead. He retired and started to live the quiet life in a little village, but an African general came into the village recruiting, raping, and killing anyone who refused him. Rivera bided his time, waited till general was down for the night, he then worked his way through the soldiers and finally ending the general's life with the tin cup on the bedside table. The general was the first son of the country's leader; Rivera was forced to flee the country. He is currently wanted in six countries with a combined bounty of $700,000. After wracking up his fourth bounty & sixth warrant he returned to the United States for the first time since completing basic training.

What who wouldn't love sterlings the bad guy gone interpole gone somewhat friend. I'd love to be him/ a character like him if not I'd be fine being a mark.

The only thing I loved in regards to Sterling was love to hate him, love to dream up ways of killing him, etc.
