Masters is my catch all phrase for all the various Master technologies, it doesn't exist in actual TF lingo.

Micromaster they are Transformers designed to be the size of humans so that they need less Energon to function. Some stories have it being developed on Cybertron jointly by Autobots & Decepticons before the Transformers wake up on Earth some have it developed based on post Earth timeline (not sure if that was a joint effort). Transformers that are Micromasters were not always created that way, and those that were downsized were not always willing. IMO they are basically the G1 version of Mini-cons minus the ability to powerlinx with a full sized Transformer.

Headmaster in the show & comics is typically are humans or Nebulans who enter the Transformers head and can pilot the Transformer to some degree. There are instances where it is a human sized Transformer (not a Micromaster from what I can tell) that becomes the head for a lifeless body called a Transtector. A Transformer bonded with a Headmaster can transform from alt mode to robot mode without the Headmaster partner being present but it has no head and generally can't do much at all.

Targetmaster in the show & comics is typically are humans or Nebulans who wears a suit of armor that becomes a blaster for a Transformer. There are instances where it is a human sized Transformer (not a Micromaster from what I can tell) that becomes the weapon instead. A Transformer bonded with a Targetmaster can transform from alt mode to robot mode without the Targetmaster partner being present but they are missing some or all of their firepower depending on what other weapons if any the Transformer has.

Powermaster in the show & comics is typically are humans or Nebulans who wears a suit of armor that becomes an external power supply for a Transformer. There are instances where it is a human sized Transformer (not a Micromaster from what I can tell) that becomes the power supply instead. A Transformer bonded with a Powermaster can't transform from alt mode to robot mode without the Powermaster partner being present.

There are Mini-cons that act as Headmasters as well as Targetmasters but they are never referred to as Headmasters or Targetmasters. Plus the Mini-cons are not binary bonded to any particular Transformer. Can't recall any Mini-cons acting as a Powermaster.
Updated the first post.

Begin building your Master partner(s) or if you feel so inclined your standard Decepticon.

Zero Hex & Kalamadea since you started working on yours before I came up with the idea for adapting the IDW & Dreamwave uses for the various Master techniques you don't have to make your characters fit into the Master type you can be other Autobots that joined up later from other cells or other dimensions or whatever.

There'd be no screwing up any timelines because of this, and I can provide a nice explanation in the history for how he got into our dimension.

I would have to know more, PM it to me.

Starting work on the plotline now.
The biggest problem with the Transfomers franchise is all the freaking humans. They offer absolutely nothing to the franchise. They steal time from the characters who should be getting time the Transformers.
G1 seems to be the most popular. So we will go with that.

If we were to do that one it would not be based on the cartoon. That show was freaking ridiculous. The Contructicons had five origins stories.

Also NO humans or any other kind of alien. Purely giant robots.

Ideas from any version of G1 is acceptable as long as it doesn't contradict another idea. I.e. Constructicons have more than one origin story.

Ideas from War for and Fall of Cybertron.

Alt Modes that are designed for hiding should not include giant Autobot & Decepticon team insignias on them, because that would defeat the purpose of the alt mode.

I will work on a plotline sometime after 8pm I will leaving shortly. It may not be taking place on Cybertron.

I would prefer all original characters. When creating your character keep in mind at this time Optimus' & Megatron's forces are on Earth in stasis buried inside a volcano while the Beast Wars are taking place. We will not be going to Earth so the participants of the Beast Wars can't screw up their past our characters' present day by telling their ancestors about the future even by accident.

Also by the way Time Travel is not allowed.
What is the point of subscribing to a thread?

Yeah, but in the book the Marauders were present way before the Bug War began. They were nothing special when the Bug War began, being standard issue for quite a long time at the beginning of the war.

From what I know of the book. The Marauder suits had no reason to exist until after the Bug War began.

That be like inventing a giant robot to fight Godzilla before Godzilla was even born.
No it was a question to make you actually clarify the details of your human policy, but since you prefer to be rude, confrontational, and refuse to answer a simple yes or no question you have lost a player.

Goodbye.
What kind of god like powers?
So if our purely human character was modified into a super after a month would we then have to create a human character?
