Roxy stepped back after a moment, her cheeks thoroughly reddened. She cleared her throat and rubbed her arm. "I uh, hopefully that will dissuade your, your jealousy."
"Oh." Roxy said. Then a moment later her cheeks reddened as it really sunk in. "Oohhhh. Oohh." She paused, biting her lip a moment before turning to Christa and kissing her, firmly, square on the lips.
Roxy continued, starting to get lost in her thoughts. "I mean I can just ask her wen she gets here, but I feel it was a bit rude. I wonder if she'll have anyone else with her."
Roxy loaded the lighter food into her bag, and joined Christa in the other room. "Oh score!" She said. "My dad always used to say tinned food would keep through the apocalypse. Didn't think I'd ever get a chance to find out though." Her tone fell slightly.
After some quick searching, they found the small breakroom. Now cold coffees sat on the table and someone's unclaimed instant ramen sat in the microwae. Roxy went over and began rooting through the cupboards, finding teabags, instant coffee, a box of granola bars, and a few packets of instant ramen.
