"Yeah It was great to meet you Thomas." Jeffery looks down and realizes his sleeve is pulled up a little to far, as he rushes to pull it down he realizes that Thomas probably noticed. In an attempt to not start on why he pulled his sleeve down so fast, Jeffery pulled a book out of his bag. It was his favorite book, the Japanese manga Blue Exorcist, and began reading it almost instantly.

"Thanks... I guess," Jeffery looks at Thomas in amazement as he has never met someone so nice. "I never expected to make a friend this fast, I barely even planned on talking." He laughs a little bit thinking of how stupid that must have sounded, "that must have sounded kind of stupid right?"

"Sir?" Sir!" Thomas exclaimed "Are you okay my good fellow? What is the problem that makes you hurt?"

"It's alright, I'm ok it's just... I was remembering the orphanage," Jeffery pauses and looks of into the sky for a second. "I still need to decide which I prefer, that orphanage or here, I was miserable but at least it was familiar, here the people are nicer... so far but I don't know anything about this place."

Thomas laughed "No it was not required but I find that first impressions are key" Thomas scratched his chin and studied his new colleuge "Say it sounds as if you were brought here without your consent"

"I guess you could say that, but I'm still a minor and I lived in an orphanage so..." After mentioning the orphanage Jeffery cringed in pain again, trying to be as subtle as possible but failing to do so as memories rushed back in, he also dropped his bag again and grabbed his head as it started to ache.

"The name is Thomas. A pleasure to meet you jeffery" Thomas made another adjustment to his tie "Well this is obviously a academy so we are here to learn and live i presume. Besides that i know nothing.

"Oh well, nice to meet you Thomas I just wish I knew why I was here and how I was chosen, but I guess they tell us later." After this Jeffery realizes that most of the people are dressed up in suits and ties, "oh crap, was I supposed to dress nicely for this?"

Thomas looked at the new arrival, he decided it would be nice to introduce himself since he was also in Halcyon. He cleaned some dirt of his suit and walked over "Hello there friend!"

"Hey," Jeffery replied, noticing the person approaching him was also Halcyon. "My name is Jeffery. Do you know what's going on here exactly? Because I was basically brought here and was only given a pamphlet about the groups and the rules." As he said this Jeffery looked around at his strange surroundings.

"Good.Liz will be glad to have you." Katherin pointed to the blond girl standing under the Halcyon sign. "I will explain everything soon."

Jeffery looks at who she pointed at, "ok I'll head over there now." As he walks over he mumbles to himself, "I don't think I've talked this much in the past month." When he gets close to where the girl named Liz is standing, he leans back against the nearest fence and looks at ground and thinking back to whatever few good memories he had left.

Sebastian noticed another student get off the bus. He walks over to the guy. "Hello, I am Sebastian Enquire, member of Savant." he introduces himself. "Who might you be?"

"Hey," Jeffery replies with a hint of annoyance in his voice. 'what's up with all these people, no one usually looked at me in the orphanage, let alone speak to me,' he thought to himself. "My name is Jeffery, I joined the Halcyon."

"Oh... hi," he said surprised as he didn't think anyone would speak to him. "Umm, I-I've already chosen Halcyon," he replied almost stuttering from nervousness.

Jeffery walked off the bus with his head down and hood up, and walked almost as slow as humanly possible. "What is this place," he thought, "and why am I here." He went off somewhere near a group of students but staying several feet away. As he stood with his back against the fence painful memories return to him, and he cringes and drops the book bag he was carrying just at the thought of them. He clutches his head as the memories filling his head are horrible.
