Mercy is for the weak :D
Aleck - Inside the Store with Emma

He set the girl down on a table and started sorting through his bag, he could feel the girl weakened by the loss of blood and potential infection of her arm, he needed to treat her quickly. He wasn't one for courtesy or gentleness where everyone but his sister was concerned so he cut away the sleeve of the girl's jacket without a care as to whether she wanted to save the jacket or not. He removed the makeshift bandages and got a good look at the cut. It wasn't bad, would leave a scar but otherwise it was just a flesh wound, that is if infection didn't settle in. He didn't have the tools to stitch her up, not that it was a priority task in saving the girl's arm since the gash was not deep enough that it demanded stitches but without them the scar that would form would be bulgy and noticeable.

With a towel wetted with alcohol he wiped away the dried blood avoiding the wound itself, once the wound's surrounding was cleaned. The next part was tricky and very painful, for her. He used his body to block her sight as he poured some of the alcohol into a tiny eight ounce plastic bottle and made a hole in the cap. Putting aside the bottle he prepped the bandages because he wanted to do the next part quickly and cleanly.

With a quick tug he forced the girl to either hold on to the table with her other arm or fall off, with the other hand occupied and her arm outstretched Aleck quickly grabbed the bottle and blasted her wound with alcohol. He couldn't afford to be gentle, there was grime and dried blood within the gash, if any of it was infected with zombie blood she would turn, he needed to wash it out. With a towel he wiped away the loosened contaminants and excess alcohol. Once that was done he started properly wrapping her arm in new clean bandages.

Cleaning out the wound had been a task accomplished in less than thirteen seconds, wrapping it would take at least two minutes. He braced himself to receive any lashes as he focused on getting the wrapping right.
Aleck Encounters Emma on the Tracks

Aleck saw the girl coming long before she reached the tracks, he noted that she was injured, there was blood. She was weak but she didn't seem to be "dying", he could tell these things, when someone is infected. With practiced ease he exited his sanctuary and made his way towards the girl at a running pace.

He unsheathed the sword and strapped the scabbard to his back when he got within fifty yards, he would need to be quick but silent so he left the guns holstered. The thing about the undead is that they cannot feel "danger" and only feel the drive to feed so they cannot perceive the danger of a sword and thus do nothing to avoid its blade. He cut down the first of the undead as he approached the girl then another drawing the attention of the rest. He avoided dealing with the big one until it was the last one standing, he didn't want to try and deal with the big one while the other ones were still up, if they had caught him then it would have been the end of him since he doubted he had the strength to tango mano a mano with the big none.

He sliced deep into its right thigh dropping it low before arching overhead and swinging down with full force for a decapitating blow.

"And there we go..." Aleck said to himself using the big one's backside to wipe off the blood from his sword. He unhitched the sword from his back and sheathed it before hitching it back on again, after which he made a quick double check to ensure that the revolvers were loaded. With that done and out of the way he scanned the area temporarily ignoring the distressed girl, Aleck had already an escape route set up but now he was checking its viability before heading through it. To his satisfaction the route appeared to be clear and viable.

"Hold on now," he said to the girl. He grabbed her hand, lifted her quickly up off the ground and draped her over his shoulder, he wrapped one arm around the back of her knees and the other on her butt securing her in place as he made a mad dash for the safety of the store he had previously been occupying. "Don't scream or anything because that will kill us both."
In a Store with clear view of the Church

Aleck saw the group that was invading the church two blocks down arrive and start shooting, it was an effective scare tactic, for raiders. He figured he could hit them quick and hard but there was yet to be a visible gain from ambushing these raiders, he'd fought a few of them before and knew fairly well how to hold his own but he didn't have the firepower to wrestle with this particularly large group. He could gain weapons in return for his efforts but he wasn't sure about the group these raiders were attacking, if they didn't put up a fight Aleck decided it was best to leave them to their fates, if a survivor isn't willing to fight for his right to live then best to let them die than be dragged down.

To prevent being seen by walkers he secured the doors and camouflaged his presence with boxes, he'd wait a while and see what the clash of the two groups would result in before moving on.

Second Floor of a Thrift Store
-Gwen
"I wonder what I should make," Gwen mused. "Ravioli or lasagna dinner?"

When shit hit the fan Aleck had spent a great deal of effort securing a place for them to stay, he found a studio on the second floor of a thrift shop with more than six possible exits and entrances and had proceeded to make it into a home. Gwen had never really tasted the suffering of the apocalypse that was going on outside, she sensed the loss and insecurity brought on by it but nothing beyond that. When food started to run out in the beginning it was Aleck who ventured out to bring back supplies, when their home was no longer secure Aleck had already a plan set in motion to get them to safety without running into any kinds of problems.

She decided to go with Lasagna, though they had a solar panel to recharge the battery that powered all the electrical appliances Gwen used its power wasn't enough to maintain the fridge on all of the time. Aleck had recently secured some good lasagna making cheese, it would be a waste if it spoiled should the battery die during the night. She grabbed some other ingredients from the fridge and started boiling some of the lasagna pasta to get it ready for the slow oven bake.
so am I in?
I usually feel out my character in IC, I have a hard time keeping to whatever I put in that spot...but if it makes no difference I'll do it I guess.
CS:

Appearance :

Name : Aleck and Gwen Wyrde

Age : 17f and 18m

Skill :
Aleck...
Strategist - He is a great planner, he has plans for his plans and backup plans for his backup plans that are for his backup plans.

Quiet Berserker - When the fighting needs to be fought he fights to kill. He is so focused that he doesn't make a single sound as he hacks and slashes away at his enemies.

Gwen...
Housewife - They were alone growing up, their parents both had very busy office jobs, in turn Gwen became, in a way, Aleck's mother. Thus she learned to cook, clean, and the all important fussing. She's good at keeping track of inventory and has a grade A mathematician mind.

Weapon:
Aleck
Hand and a Half Sword - (I have one, pretty cheap and it is combat durable)

Father's Dual Colt Pythons - Due to being an heirloom his father kept the guns in a glass case and only had the display's twenty rounds plus the five in the revolver.

Gwen
None - has a dislike for blood and violence.

Personality :
Aleck: ADHD and psychologically different. His morals and ideals are not average, he was born with a lack of emotional strength in the sense that his emotions are weak, while he may show surface emotion deep down he's always bored unless he is doing something he considers extremely enjoyable. His sister is his moral anchor, everything he considers to be right and wrong revolve around her, meaning that if she approves of something he is fine with it if she isn't then he will consider it a "bad" thing for values of her displeasure.

Gwen: She has a strong motherly instinct, though Aleck is not her real brother they were together since before either had permanent memory, it is their close upbringing and his reliance on her that developed her maturity and motherly nature. Though Aleck can be mature, strong, and very intelligent he is by nature a child at heart in her eyes. He always has a goofy grin that makes him look like a troublemaker child and she often has to scold him.

Brief Bio :
Aleck and Gwen are not real siblings, they were both adopted into the family so neither is even related to their "parents". They were both at home when things went down the crapper. They bunkered down and survived the initial first month when things were real bad but after a whole things started to cool down and Aleck began venturing out to find food and other essentials.
