You don't even deserve the attention of my anger.

Just to give you an extra notch on your frustration belt, I haven't seen any of the Star Wars movies. I played the Lego game. Basically the same thing, right?

I miss your sass.

Jesus, we have enough sass in here already.
Working on my post. This is exciting! It's nice to see so many posts up in such a short amount of time as opposed to before.

Hey guys, I know I don't get to talk, since, ya know, I don't post as much as I should, but lets be honest here.Collabs slow down the RP. Now, they're great when you are doing something massive, or when you are returning after a few months, but when you are just making a post, I don't think they're necessary. A collab, at best, takes a few hours, but when you aren't on at the same time as the other Writer, you are looking at something that can take up to a week to write. That post I made only took me about two hours of thinking - Yes, It took two days because of some RL issues, but in all honesty, adding the time I worked on it, it wasn't much. If we can just put the two hours and do a post, BOOM, we won't be at risk of dying, and Soul and Dervs wont have to do a timeskip - All the way to skyrim, causing the current character development and plot lines to die. So please guys, I'm begging - Lets get some single posts up and show them we care about the RP. Make the time - Put aside an hour or two, and just churn something out. Dervs and Soul made this amazing RP, and we owe it to them to give their RP the attention it deserves. Please.

I totally agree. I feel like we can totally keep this going if we just change up a few little things to get posting speed up. Who's got a post in the works right now?
That sounds pretty interesting! Is it modern-day soldiers set in fantasy?

My story idea is about your run-of-the-mill fantasy. It's about a girl with a ridiculous name who was essentially raised by sentient, magic-wielding lizard people in a demon-infested swamp. Magic is most commonly used by demons and magebeasts (imagine a plain-looking lion that can shoot fireballs at you and cause miniature earthquakes), so usually it's only races of demon blood (such as the lizardfolk) that can use it, which tends to lead to a lot of wizards being run out of cities and forced to live as hermits for the rest of their lives in huts and ruins. The whole overarching plot of the story revolves around the main character trying to kill her adoptive mother and prevent her from opening a portal that would summon like a million demons. Other stuff happens, a lot of other stuff, but I figure we could share what we manage to write over the month and piece it all together.

Don't be. 1600 words per day will ultimately feel like you're just getting started. Go in without fear, stick with it, never edit. Be sloppy, be stupid, be whatever. You'll feel awesome when you win. I'm gonna go for it this year, and I like my odds. I got a story burning a hole in my head anyway, trying to get out, so I might as well channel it.

Ahhhh, I'm really excited. It's just so daunting, especially with me being a student! What's your story about? Maybe explaining it to someone could help it be more streamlined or something.
Hey, since NaNoWriMo is beginning tomorrow, and many of you I know are big writers, is anyone else planning to participate? This could be a thread for advice, updates, lamentation and anything else having to do with this particular November. This will be my first time trying to take part in NaNoWriMo and I'm more than a little intimidated.
Pfft, I never had a costume to begin with. It's a bit of a bummer that I'm just not really in the Halloween spirit this time around.
