Trying to think back to class earlier, I knew we went over Devil/Imp relations, but I had been too focused on the girl in front of me.
You awaken with a major headache, with your surroundings blurry, but you stand anyways. As your vision clears, you realize that you're not home, or anywhere you recognize for that matter. You look where you were once laying to see a black, fire-outlined imprint of your body on the ground, with nothing but a single, rusted weapon beside the charred spot you "appeared" from. You hear a growl- not like any animal, but like a human's vocal chords being used with the least amount of humanity possible. Turning to face the sound's supposed origin, you see a young boy. Maybe twelve in age. You wave a greeting in hopes to figure out what happened. In response, the boy cocks his head to the side, frowns, and echos the previous growl, with his face twisting in a horrid motion that makes him seem less like a human and more like Venom from the Spider-Man series.

Here's a sample intro (from the player's POV) to this idea I have for a Dark Souls-inspired RP (that is not in the same realm). Each person picks a location type (forest, city, beach, etc) and a weapon type that's available in the Dark Souls universe, excluding any types with the words "great-" or "ultra-" in them. The next part of the plot is simple- figure out what in the hell happened.
I'd simply be playing the part of the GM, more closely to a D&D GM, as everything I write will be the world's reaction to the players' posts. There might be some stats involved (this is still a rough idea) but nothing that will take up much time or complexity. Or dice-rolling. It will be set in a modern setting and YOU CAN DIE*. But that aside, it's a combination of D&D-styled adventure and normal RP-style battling, with some Dark Souls concepts sprinkled around for good measure. Any interest?

*All deaths cannot be avoided or talked out of. All dead player-characters can be found and looted, unless "something" happens to them. Any player with a dead character can create a new one. Terms and conditions may apply. See store for details.
'Ello. Interested
Cecelia had just left the music store, satisfied with her purchase of "CDs" or rather the CDs' download codes to put them directly on her phone. Bobbing her head to the beat of her newly discovered interest in Glitch Hop, she heads in the direction of her house- which isn't but a few blocks- which meant weaving her way through or around clusters of people- all whom she ignored, except for a muttered "excuse me/pardon me"- on the sidewalk. The catchy tunes made time seem to go by faster, and she was nearly home- about a block or so from her driveway- when her music was interrupted briefly by her text message chime. She unlocked her phone and went to her "SecureLine_MSG" app and read the text from the only contact that messages her on that secure channel: The Director. Pushing a lock of hair out of her face, she read the message- which was short, concise, and direct- that told her when and where to meet for her assignment.
Huh. Wonder who it is this time. It's been a while, and I could do for the cash. Deciding to accept, she sent her predetermined "ACCEPT" text and jogged the rest of the way home to change into her black sweatshirt, yoga pants- it's all she really has that's somewhat form fitting but not tights/leggings- and black sneaks- teehee, black sneakers for stealth work; just a perfect name for them. Once fully changed, she grabbed her keys and headed for the car and let familiarity drive her to the director's usual meeting place- or rather, his MANSION(!).
@Felix7heWolf Anywho. I'm off to bed, but will post asap on the morrow.

I'm just saying that I would send the texts to each of you. I will never take control of your characters actions... Unless you take over a week to respond.

Understood. I was just suggesting maybe editing your first post to include "sending out the calls" or something.
@Felix7heWolf I think it'd just be easier to make it ourselves. Especially so we can show how we each would receive the messages.

i.e. Cecelia would get a text, but maybe not everyone else would
@Felix7heWolf Could we maybe start off with IC intro posts, maybe? With getting some general message to gather at "HQ" or something?
@Felix7heWolf of course. Any other hints to the plot? Or is there one?
