I don't believe anyone is arguing whether Sakura would be acceptable in this setting. I believe their main concern is whether she starts out with all the cards or not. As it stands, I would prefer if at tops, she started with 4- 5 cards and she can gather more as the RP goes on.

In any case, everyone is accepted so far. Fate Testarossa is pending until the profile is finished.

I think it would be better not to focus too heavily on explaining the Hime Star. Just a vague girls with powers from a star would be enough. For Hime stuff, I rather focus on the first half with Orphans and SEARS foundation, the battle royale part of HiME would hijack the plot too much.

In the year 20XX, super powered females known as Magical Girls have been on the rise. These girls fight to uphold the peace in the name of love, justice, and friendship! One particular city in Japan has become a hub for magical girls around the world to come and meet. Especially since baddies seem to take an unusually high interest in this city. While magical girls are well known part of society, thanks to their efforts to prevent evil from taking over. Their secrets are safely guarded and not even fellow magical girls know each other's identities outside of being a magical girl.

For the past few weeks, attacks from monsters have been happening more frequently. Villains from many dimensions and planets have been appearing to stake claim on the city. There are even rumors that some are working together. With this this major threat looming over them, it's up to the heroines of this story to take charge and save the day!

Rules

No Godmodding, Powerplaying, Autohitting, or Metagaming.

Please respect everyone in the thread and keep drama to a minimum. If you have a problem with the actions of a player or their character, inform me through PM and I will deal with it as I see fit.

I will look at powers on a case by case basis. If I feel something is too powerful for the RP, then I will pend my acceptance until we can work something out.

If a character does not fit into the setting or breaks it for whatever reason, then adjustments must be made to make them fit.

OCs and Magical Boys (through genderbending, OCs, or canon magical boys) are allowed. However, I am limiting OCs to 1 for every 2 canon characters that gets signed up. With that in mind, DO NOT sign up as an OC until I I give the okay as to allot time for enough canon characters to be signed up. I will ignore all OC signups that come before I open OC signups. Note: This does not apply to villain and/or mascot signups.

I suppose I should mention the characters I'm considering to RP in this, which are Midori Sugiura from Mai-HiME and quite possibly either Cure Pine, Cure Sunshine, or a Senshi. I haven't decided yet.

I think that would depend on if anyone else wanted to play a Senshi and what time period they wanted them from and if both you and that player can come to an agreement. Personally, lastest that I'd want would be Post-S but Pre-SuperS. It might be better to just leave it ambiguous for now.

I think most of what I needed settled for ideas are settled, so I will work on setting up the OOC with signups this weekend. Or if you prefer, I can edit the first post of the Interest Check with the signups.

@Guy of Z: It would be preferable if you posted instead of editing your last post after others have posted. I almost missed your question. I believe the consensus was 1 for every 2 canon character that gets signed up. So it might be best to let everyone who plans on playing canon characters signup first before OCs are signed so we can see what number we will be working with.

I am giving leeway, OCs are still allowed. I just noticed that there are a lot of users who want to use OCs and I won't be able to accommodate for them all. Which is why I bring up the suggestion of a separate RP. Please understand that I'm not trying to send people away for RPing OCs, I just don't want an overload of OCs in what is meant to be a crossover.
