So, since there's not much posting going on and two people just announced that they left, I want to do a head count before we continue. I might need to put this on pause and get some more people here. Who's still here?

I don't know if I did something to piss you off, or if we got off on the wrong foot or something, but I just want to know a brief summary of what's been happening so I don't have to read walls of text. No need to be a sarcastic and condescending asshole about it.

Old guys are talking about a monster in a swamp, there's a guardian meeting tonight, and there's a fire way off on the horizon.
@Inuyasha: Ok. It looks better. You're accepted.

@gamerdude: I'm sorry to hear that, but thank you for at least telling me.
I'm down for this. Sounds really cool.

Thanks! Surprised Seraph hasn't spoken to you. Ryo doesn't represent the Leaf in anything he does and has no rank but at this point, after killing soldiers, you may as well run on in and have something to do though man. I feel bad with you just standing around waiting and not having fun. Don't worry, Takeo won't 'kill him'.

Don't feel bad. At least we have a bunch of good writers in this RP so it's fun to read. But, I think I'll have him wait it out because from his perspective Takeo probably wouldn't have a problem with him killing random imperials as a civilian that happens to be good with a sword, but he might take issue with him interfering with an organized plan of attack. After all, he's out of the loop and he doesn't know how much of this is planned out, and he certainly wouldn't want to inadvertently become "problematic."
My character isn't doing much right now, but I figured I would at least post something so that you know I'm still here.
As Ryozan stood by the gate to Konoha, he sensed a sudden surge of chakra, likely caused by some artificial source. His hand hovered gingerly over the hilt of his blade, and his legs wanted to dash into battle, but he was not permitted to move. Slaying some stray groups of Imperial soldiers was one thing, but there was no way he would be able to justify participating in an organized attack to Takeo when the time came. This was his punishment, and yet this is what he had been doing for the past six months. His comrades were fighting for their home and, if all went well, they would return heroes. And what was he doing? He understood now why Takeo was so disgusted with him; it felt disgusting to sit here and watch with the ability to do something, but not the will. He only hoped that he hadn't learned this lesson too late...

Is it possible that in the early days this view was not prevalent? And what if my Yirigami Hitomi was insane, would that make things more probable?

It would but plausible if Yirigami was a known lunatic and if he and his doomsday cult committed suicide as very small, very eccentric minorities in the village. Kado village was always peaceful, though, so that is the main issue with the history

Edit: Also, that smoke is like WAY in the distance. It was on the edge of the horizon when scouted from roughly twenty feet in the air.
Didn't mean to ignore your character Zero. Just took me a while to post. But, hopefully something fun can come out of that little jab Kumazawa took at Tetsuo.
