Sammy didn’t really have time to object. Griff spoke so fast that all he heard was “marines coming” and “i’ll buy you some meat” so he followed Griff over to his cart where he began to crank something. when he finished, he handed Sammy a little toy soldier. “When we enter the manhole, use this to light the way.” Sammy looked the toy over, confused as to how this would light the way. Griff must have noticed his confusion. “ust spark the tip of the mouth and it will lite, with your powers it should be easy” Sammy took a closer look at the mouth of the toy and, sure enough, there was a wick inside it. Griff moved toward the manhole and began to enter. Sammy was about to do the same , but not before catching a glimpse of Natsu through the smoke. He turned and stared at her for a couple seconds before giving her a big toothy smile and chuckling “Ny-hihihihi, see ya later Natsu!”
“You coming, captain?” he heard Griff call from the manhole.
“Yep!” With that, Sammy grabed the manhole cover, climbed inside, and put the cover back over top.

"now then," Tobias tore off what remained of his suit top."my turn." he made a mad dash for his opponent.
