Sure, Nexerus. I'd just like some map that's preferably blank and easy to edit through paint yet still have it look nice. The cultural equivalents are simply made so that Arabian kingdoms aren't neighboring with norse ones.
Right. Your complaints are noted. Also, yes, all traits cost one point unless specified otherwise.

EDIT: New map, everybody. Sorry for my glorious cartography skills.

Blue's water, by the way. The black outlines the land.

Yes, it's still open until we have eight applications in.
@wanderingrebel

Yes, it's absolutely fine to choose an unmarked spot in the map and make it something how you like. UK? Sure.

KINGDOM SHEET

Name of the Kingdom:
Current Ruler:
Dynasty:
Flag: (You can put an image or describe it here, the coat of arms too, if you'd like.)
History:
Traits:
Claim on the map: (Please supply an image, don't try to describe that stuff.)
Additional things to fill in: (Culture, Traditions, Customs, Et Cetera.)

You have 10 points to spend on all traits. You must have two flaws. You can get more flaws in exchange for more points. Feel free to get some Special Traits and Flaws, and I'll see them over.

Do not take Flaws which are completely opposite of the traits you took. For an example, it's better not to take a flaw about bad ships when you chose many traits for good ships.

Map's scale is - Chernogravia and Astieb form about the entirety of europe. Ibali'mma and Wund form another continent. Chalewiel is probably a smaller Australia.

I'm pondering about having three trait sections.
Kingdom Section, where the traits are about the government and the country.
Military Section, where the traits are based around the military of the kingdom.
And finally the Trade Section, where the economics, resources, and trade is covered.
Then the flaws.

I'd love to get some trait suggestions.
Bah. Had a bunch of traits done until I accidentally closed the tab. I'll put them up tomorrow.
Great to see some interest in here. I'll throw in a map I consider appropriate for the setting, as well as a nation sheet and some rules. As soon as I have about eight kingdoms I'll put up an OOC and IC. <3

This is the map for you to add your kingdom's claims into. Be aware that if you choose a vast landmass you'll be bound to having either a bunch of little, ambitious and evil vassals or several gigantic vassal families that aren't too loyal. Of course, it's all up to the vassal generator, but still.

The red oval is the region of Chalewiel. You can base your Anglo-Saxon inspired kingdom into here. Something based around France can fit in.
The purple oval is the region of Chernogravia. That's the place for slav-based nations. Ura voievode!
The blue oval is Astieb, a place for all the sultanates and oasises inspired by arabian realms. You can also throw something Spanish in as well.
The green oval is Ibali'mma. Get all the tropic african-inspired kingdoms there. India can also be a candidate.
The purple oval is Wund, you can get your fine viking ships and furious berserks over here. A couple german countries too, possibly.
And finally, the golden square is for all the asian realms, named Gwaoma.
The unmarked places are all up to you. One unmarked place can belong to Wund, or Ibali'mma. Feel free to choose.

Going to get the nation sheet in a bit. The military and economy are all going to be trait based.

Hello. I've had an idea planted long ago in my mind after a certain lovely nation-roleplay I've had the honour of taking part in. That particular idea is one very similar to that roleplay's context.

You lead a medieval kingdom into either prosper or downfall; managing your affairs, interacting with your vassal and other such kings and queens and creating an extremely interesting and gripping story of intrigue and war, diplomacy and peace.

There are no 'fantasy' elements of any kind, and in all honesty the setting taking place is certainly brutal and cruel times. There is no advancements in the social system and everything is rather feudal.

There's no 'democracy' as well. Of course you can shape up your character to be charitable and all that, but the vassals that I'll generate for you won't necessarily have to share your point of view. In fact, it can turn up completely the opposite. But that's where the fun lies.

As was in the roleplay I had been in, there are going to be the Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter seasons where I announce events that were either randomly generated or player induced, both in the IC for the most global ones, and the private messages for the ones concerning all the players directly.

All outcomes of assassination attempts, battles, sieges, and more will be decided by me, with the last two having a private convo for both sides where maneuvers and moves are done.

The Official Map

Thanks in advance.
Well, shit.
I'm here too, by the by. Although, it seems this roleplay lost its' activity?
