In my spare time I like to make beats/music on my laptop, spend time with my lovely fianceé, and day dream. Watching movies is a favorite activity for me, but sometimes I need space to myself and don't want to do anything but curl up on the couch and sip hot tea while Frank Ocean sings in the background. It's a toss up. Sometimes I don't want to write, sometimes I'm going through things and just can't be bothered to search for my muse. If I'm going through that, I will always let a partner know.
If I need to drop for whatever reason, I will let you know. I'm a stickler for effort when it comes to our IC post, and I really do try to sprinkle my posts with some love and magic to give my partner something to work with.
I really just expect the same courtesy from my partners, and basic respect for boundaries and not getting too comfortable with me too fast. I will never rush anyone to post and again, expect the same decency. However, if it has been a month without a post or word from you, it will just be an automatic drop. No hard feelings, but on to better things.

Ethnicity: American Caucasian
Occupation: Lead Vocalist/Guitarist in the band Sky View
Superpowers: Major: Adam is a leech, he drains the energy from unsuspecting victims to sustain his own life force. He doesn't have to make skin-to-skin contact to do this, but instead channels his victim(s) and absorbs it.
Minor: He can see people's auras; people with superpowers have a very unique aura.
Minor: If someone with special abilities is killed through his leeching process, he permanently gains their abilities. If not, he only has their abilities for a short amount of time.
Weaknesses: If he doesn't leech often, he will become extremely weak and look sickly.
Adam has to make skin-to-skin contact with someone special to steal their abilities.
Personality: Adam has the stereotypical personality you would expect of someone in a famous rockband. He's charming, cool, and mysterious. Not many people know him outside of his rock band, and that's exactly how he likes it. Despite this, he's a very giving person and often attends charity events.
Background: Adam was with his passing grandmother when he discovered his abilities, and finally understood what the colors that surrounded people were. He watched her aura fade into nothing and her life forced leaked from her body, and into his. At the time, he didn't understood what it was, or how he even did it. All of that energy flowed into him, invigorating and refreshing him. He was only twelve when that happened, and had no idea it was his fault that she passed away.
Additional Info: Likes cats. Bisexual. Has never stolen another humans superpowers.

Expillo, nope there is nothing you need to know about it really. Though this is the Heroes universe, it's really just like any universe but with humans that have super powers. We don't wear spandex, lol. That's really it.

Caits, if you could go through and just edit your cs to fix those spelling errors and just elaborate a bit more on your powers. A weakness, would be more of like a physical weakness. Something that affect you during battle. Also, if you're not able to post a picture could you go into more detail about your characters looks?

They're ultimately just trying to survive in the world like everyone else, but since they've discovered their super powers and that there are others in the world just like them everyone's life begins to change drastically.
Our characters will discover that not everyone with superpowers is on their side, and old friends can turn into new enemies. The people you hold dearest to your heart can change on you, and maybe even try to hurt because they don't understand your abilities. What will you do when that time comes?
I'm open to 10 or 12 characters including myself participating in this role play.
Rules: DO READ
1. The standard casual and RPG rules apply, but please post in third person at all times. I've seen people not do this, and it makes me feel weird.:D I'm not a snob about length, and I'm more focused on quality than quantity but I would love if it you could squeeze out more than one paragraph per post.
2. BE ACTIVE! This is a big one for me, because you'll have people post in the IC once and they never show up again, or they create a CS and never post. If this is you, I'd prefer you not even try to get in on this. It's a roleplay killer, and ain't nobody got time foh dat! Of course if something comes up you can always let me know.
3. No killing people's characters without their permission. No Godmodding, autohitting, or any of that other good stuff!
4. A maximum of TWO characters, the other one can be a civilian or villain or whatever.
5. You can use characters from the show if you want, but you have to stay in character. Keep in mind their relationship with the characters from the show will be nonexistent, even if someone else plays a canon. You'll have to rebuild those relationships.
6. I'm the GM, but your opinions on how I can make this roleplay better or anything else is always welcome. Don't be afraid to communicate with me.
