I'm not sure what I did to lure you here but I do apologize and I also would like to welcome you to my page. Now with the pleasantries aside, a bit about me.
I have been role playing for about 3 maybe 4 years now, I love writing and I spend a lot of free time doing just that. I also spend a lot of time that is meant to be for work writing but that's another story. I live in the American midwest (think great lakes region) so that should give you an idea of my timezone. That being said I am often up at many hours of the night, or morning depending on your point of view.
I am indeed a girl and she/her whatever works.

"Maybe you shouldn't have stolen it and then proceed to hit it with a rock." Eris picked up the locket and shut it. "Go home and play with your toys, you have no business with me. I'm being kind by letting you live, don't make me rethink my decision." Eris looked down on him and smirked.
Eris's attention was drawn by a loud clanging coming from her locket. It popped open and Eris maifested above it. She waved the rock out of the fat kid's hands. "You have summoned me in a most unpleasant way, choose your next words carefully, I'm not in the mood for idiotic antics."
I don't want to make anyone give up characters if they don't want to, plus if all the god characters had to adapt to being normal(ish) their reactions would be pretty funny.
Sofyia smiled, "I'm a precog, horrible events usually come after my powers. Though it only happens rarely, last time I had a vision I saw my own death. I did end up dying or at least that's what I thought, I'm not completely sure any more." She thought for a moment, "I would say split up but that's almost never a good idea when creepy dummies are involved. I've got nowhere to be and nothing better to do so I say we take our time."
Sofyia watched as Kazuma got upset, "Sorry I didn't mean to offend." She murmured. Pulling her hand gun out of her shirt she checked it to find she only had a few bullets left. She had enough for two more rounds in a pocket but it wouldn't last long, returning the gun she turned to them. "Whether you like your powers or not they don't hurt you. Not physically." She shook her head as if abandoning the subject, "As much as I want to leave we need to investigate this city first plus getting out will be difficult seeing as there are giant metal walls surrounding it. We can only hope they are meant to keep things out."
Sofyia sighed, "I don't see why you're worried, you can just fly away. You don't even have to deal with these creepy dummies." there was a trace of jealousy in her voice, "Regardless, you're both right, we should move on. One of those kids died and if the other comes back I'll strangle him." Sofyia punched a hole through another fake human that got too close, "I don't care where we go, just anywhere but here."
You're right, what I'm thinking of is god-tier characters. They are not omnipotent however they are extremely powerful, we should focus on limiting these characters. I would love to have Eris wipe the excessive ones out but Eris can't do it alone and I'm sure most every one thinks their godly character isn't excessive (I am no exception), We have discussed the idea of separating gods from mortals but we never put it into place. If we create such a dimension I feel like it should have what I call the Superman effect. Superman is only super because earth has a yellow sun, on his home planet however he is much less powerful because of the red sun (and the heightened gravity among other things). The dimensions would work similarly, the god dimension would render gods to super powered humans while they still retain their powers in the other dimensions. Travel would still be available however the gods would not be able to create their own portals as they do not have the power to do so.

Wow that sounded kind of mean didn't it? Sorry, I just meant to point that out and admire the irony. I was laughing as I wrote/thought about it. I can be really mean without trying some times, I hope no offence was taken.
