Hi my names Sarai, I’m 22 years old, I use any pronouns (they/he/she), I used to be a very angsty teenager on here. Guess it was the puberty hormones or something? Nixie padded over to the table and looked down. "Hello, I'm Nixie." She spoke quietly.
Don't think I'm stupid, but what is spurring?...
Slowly Nixie walked into the room past the lady. She looked around the orphanage.
Nixie closed her eyes again and took her human form back on. Something felt wrong though. She looked behind her. The cat tail was still there. "Umm, this won't freak anyone out, will it?" Nixie asked, pointing to the tail that wouldn't go away until who knew when. She was still getting used to body part of animals staying attached to her,
Nixie gave the lady a knowing smile. She then closed her eyes and concentrated. She could slowly feel herself shrinking, her hands and feet getting smaller. Her nails turned narrow and thinner. She could feel the fur on her skin. When Nixie opened her eyes she could see the lady towering above her. Slowly, she let out a purr. The only thing that should distinguish Nixie from any other cat would be her shocking blue eyes.
Nixie's eyes go big as the lady opens the door. "Uh, h-hi. My names Nixie. I'm new here." Nixie wasn't sure what to say and words were sliding out before she could stop them. Good job, you're just perfect with words. Nixie thought to herself.
Nixie walks up to the orphanage door, she's quite nervousness and her hands shake as the fist hits the door one, two, three times.

Abilities: Shape shifter. Nixie can take the form of any animal, her powers do not work to shape into humans though.
Personality: Nixie is loud and can get slightly obnoxious, but she's hard not to like. She tends to be lively and hyper. She likes to read, swim, cook, and enjoys the company of animals. She's very non-violent and won't fight unless necessary.
