Nixie had came downstairs to get a glass of water for herself. After she had finished that she heard a knock on the door. Carrying the glass with her she stopped as she watched the door open.
It was a book joke. An Abundance of Katherine's is a book title.

"Ya ya, whatever." Nixie laughed and rolled her eyes. She curtsied as she walked out of the door and went off to find someone else to talk to, laughing to herself still.
Nixie wants on Janes bad side.
"Don't like people, do ya?" Nixie said as she followed the girl into the room. "Are you an animal person? Or maybe your just rude." She gave a devious smile. "You remind me of animals. You can seem so innocent, right? And then you just attack. Better be careful who you attack though. Some of us here are more animal than you could imagine."
I don't think new girl likes Nixie. *Gets idea and runs of to complete in the IC*
