Oliver stared at the teacher, slack jawed. At their age, it was hard enough to take care of a kid with someone you really knew (not counting all of the single parents out there). But with someone you probably didn't even know? This would extremely bogus. He wanted to take the time to raise his hand and ask, What can I do so I won't be a part of this?, but he knew that would just be a waste of breath. He was here and had no choice in the matter anymore. He gave an exasperated sigh. He hoped at least the kid he got paired up with would be easy to take care of and hoped that his partner would at least be fine to work with. The plus side was, at least he could just hand the kid off to them when he had to go to football practice.

Mai bounced up and down on her heels as she waited in the hallway. She was excited beyond belief, even if she didn't know what for. Whatever it was, she was sure it would be an adventure. And boy did Mai like adventures. She looked over at the other two girls and two boys from her class that had come to. She kind of wondered why no one else could come but she shrugged. A field trip?

Since it was set in Odaiba, I was thinking of using the originals. However, Savers/Data Squad's Digivices are fine too since they pretty much work about the same. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Oliver leaned back in his desk, half-listening to the teacher. He really was only here for the grade improvement, because he knew if he made a bad enough grade, he'd be kicked off of the football team for sure, and there would go his scholarship. To say the least, he wasn't the most enthused for this, despite his usual upbeat nature.

He finally moved his chair back to its normal position and propped up his chin with his fist, deciding to give a little more of his attention to the teacher.

I think it's possible if you want to at least have a chance that one of your characters will survive the bloodbath. So, that's one way we could continue to have the players able to actually play after a couple of deaths.

There is another idea, but it's pretty spoilerish if you haven't played or read the LP of the second game. Spoilers for super dangan ronpa 2 below.

Have them when they die, have them go into a coma, showing this is actually a virtual space, and have them wake up from their comas early to rally and fight the mastermind or something. But that might could cheapen the deaths, too.

Raito Enoshima

Name: Raito “Rai” Enoshima

Gender: Male

Age: 26

Role in the Organization: Leader

Appearance:

Personality: Raito is ruthless, to say the least. He doesn't show much of a care towards others, be it their well-being or their lives in general. The only people, at least initially, he shows compassion towards is the rest of his family. Despite being a member of a Guild, he is decently experienced at fighting with DemiDevimon, fighting brutally and without quarter. Depending on his mood, however, he will let his victims go as living examples of his power.

He is a harsh realist, believing that the way the world is going now, the only way to change it is to have a new world order in charge, hence the Firewall Organization. He can show signs of arrogance, possibly due to his wealthy upbringing. He believes Tamers that belong to guilds are beneath him and not worthy of his attention unless they directly interfere with his plans. It's this way that he has a bit of a temper when pressured.

Biography: When he was growing up, Raito was a happy-go-lucky child who, once he witnessed the Digidestined fighting off Myotismon fifteen years ago, had a large love for Digimon in general. He was part of a rich family that owned a local trading company in Odaiba and there was little to nothing that Raito wanted or needed.

This changed, however, when Oikawa and MaloMyotismon's plans came into action when he was in his teenage years. In the aftermath of MaloMyotismon's destruction, Raito's family was killed by wayward Digimon. It was then that he grew bitter and cold towards Digimon and was approached by a DemiDevimon, claiming to be Raito's fated partner. Using its Evil Whisper, it fed Raito lies of how it wanted to change how humans and Digimon had grown close, spurring Raito into creating the Firewall Organization.

The trading company was transformed under the influence of the new owner, still being a trading company to the naked eye. In truth, however, it had become a company filled with Digimon Tamers turned from the path of light, all wanting the same thing: to be the rulers of both Earth and the Digital World alike.

Digimon Partner: DemiDevimon

Partner's personality: DemiDevimon's personality is akin to an evil genius and is the puppeteer pulling Raito's strings. He is amoral and expresses no interest in helping others out, which makes him extremely angry that, at least at first, Raito will keep his enemies alive.

He shows a good amount of jealousy towards Digimon and Tamers with a strong attachment to each other, for reasons that DemiDevimon doesn't wish to disclose. Like his Tamer, he has a streak of anger and arrogance, less so for being raised rich and more so for not always having control over every situation.

Partner's digivolution line: Pagumon (In-Training) -> DemiDevimon (Rookie) → Devimon (Champion) → NeoDevimon (Ultimate) → Daemon (Mega)

Kouta Kazashiro

Name: Kouta Kazashiro

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Alliance: Data Collectors.

Role in Alliance: Member.

Appearance:

Personality: At first glance, Kouta comes off as cold, sarcastic and independent. He believes in the survival of the fittest. Surprisingly, however, this does not mean he thinks he's strong or has a superiority complex. Rather, he finds himself as one of the weak and wants to grasp power to protect the weak. He and FanBeemon will do anything to grow stronger, as long as it doesn't involve cheating or dirty tricks.

Despite his cold and rude personality, he has a soft spot towards people weaker than him, Digimon in general, and his teammates in the Data Collectors. He believes that killing a Digimon or human is wrong, and as such, will intervene if he notices someone trying to kill a fellow Tamer or a Tamer's Digimon. However, he has no problem in killing a rampaging, wild Digimon. While he'll claim to not care about others, he respects strong Tamers and values them as allies, to the point of being extremely loyal to them.

Biography: Kouta comes from a family of carpenters, and as such was taught the effort of hard work and the value of money from an early age. While he was too young to witness Myotismon's first attack, he noticed Digimon during Myotismon's second attack and found them to be interesting creatures. As he grew up and watched the Guilds form, he became interested in becoming a Tamer himself and as such, went off in the pursuit of a partner and of power.

He met FanBeemon outside of Odaiba, and while it took some convincing from FanBeemon, who hated Guilds but wanted a Tamer, FanBeemon finally conceded and handed over its Digivice to the teenager. From that point on, they became common fighters in Guild Battles and against wild Digimon from that point onward.

Strangely enough, Kouta seems to harbor a distaste for the Firewall Organization, due to its sales almost putting his family's shop out of business.

Digimon Partner: FanBeemon

Partner's Personality: FanBeemon comes across as cowardly and a joker at first, but when it comes to battling, FanBeemon can get serious fairly quickly. He originally found Guilds to be childish prior to becoming Kouta's partner, but now he finds them to be a fun, recreational way for humans and Digimon to bond.

Like Kouta, FanBeemon has a sense of honor and dislikes dirty tricks and deeply cares for other Digimon. He places the happiness of Kouta above all else, acting almost as a mature older brother to his Tamer.

Partner's Line: Puroromon (In-Training) → FanBeemon (Rookie) → Waspmon (Champion) → CannonBeemon (Ultimate) → TigerVespamon (Mega)
