I for one disagree with the random drawing. We, the players should have a say in whether our characters murder someone or not because we know them best. Would our character kill someone? Would they kill someone with the right motive? I think that these are important questions that only we should be able to answer because only we know how our characters truly think and how they react. The system i think would work is to have everyone PM the GM after each motive is announced, whether their character will feel the need to kill or not. (Of course, if a character feels the need to kill without a motive it's okay) and the GM can decide what works best. If there isn't anyone who steps forward, I think this is when it would be acceptable to have a drawing to keep things moving. This way, everyone but the killer, GM, and possibly victim will be able to do the whodunit thing, and it'll be more fun, IMO. The killer can try to throw everyone off, etc.And here's another idea. Why not let the dead characters know how it happened? Assuming that everyone knows the twists in the first DR game--I'll keep this as vague as possible just in case--there can be spectators, and the dead characters can become that. This also can be replaced by the idea of an afterlife, where the dead students are all-knowing. They might be able to provide hints like, "Come ON dude, you're forgetting about this piece of evidence."If we want a whodunit, it might not work if people have multiple characters though.I like the Alter Ego thing, but wouldn't that be centered around one person in particular? I guess AE could imitate other people so it'd work.

I really think that system would work best. It'll take more work but it'll make the narrative flow more smoothly and it'll just be more fun, imho.

I also agree with Pudding. Multiple characters seems to be a good idea. The other characters could become all-knowing spectators if/when that person loses both/all of their characters. This way, everyone will be on equal ground. Does this sound like a good idea?
It'll be happening. The OOC will be made when I geta new laptop charger (I'm currently using my Vita and rp replies are hard enough as .) So hopefully tonight.

And an Alter Ego deal might work out pretty well!
Interested!
I was going to say de-age her, but it'd actually make more sense to have the leaders be around the same age as the Firewall Organization. So, accepted!
They are indeed just names, but having an actual hacker would be interesting!

Also, the IC is now up but sign ups are still open!
Fifteen years had passed since the Digidestined defeated Myotismon, letting the world become aware of digital creatures called Digimon. Ten years have passed since Digimon became integrated on earth. Digimon Tamers have begun to pop up and in Odaiba, three Digimon Guilds have been established: The Vaccine Crusaders, The Data Collectors, and the Virus Hackers. The great era of the guild wars have begun in Odaiba.

Raito Enoshima hadn't left his office of the Firewall Organization all morning. The program he had created was in its last developmental stages.

DemiDevimon, who was perched on the desktop, asked, "How potent will it be?"

"Only Wild Digimon with the strongest of will can reject it," Raito replied, not looking away from the monitor, "The wave-length will be issued tomorrow. There will be some... changes soon."

"Gear Stinger!"

A Kokuwamon was pinned to the wall by a FanBeemon's stinger, disqualifying it from the fight. Another Data Collector announced, "This practice match is over! Kouta and FanBeemon win!"

Instead of congratulating his opponent, Kouta made his way to the exit of the Collector Base, stepping out into Odaiba's streets wit FanBeemon flying beside him.

"You're a sore winner," the bee teased his partner.

Kouta shrugged, "Why should I care about the weak? To be strong, I should only associate with the strong."

The Digimon rolled his eyes, "Whatever you say, buddy."
Go right ahead!
New species are definitely alright!

and yes, frontier was damn fantastic. <3
