Adelisa got out of her seat and said "be there in a second." She didn't hang up the phone, but then said "I need you to be calm. I'll call for back up. Do not move and, if you can, try to not make a sound. Put your phone on silent, not vibrate SILENT. Got it?" She took out her walkie talkie from the holder strapped to her waist and said "we have a hostage situation at the officer training center. We need back up. I repeat, hostage situation at the officer training center. We do not know who is dead or alive. We need all officer personnel there." She put the phone back to her ear as she entered her car, speeding down the road to get to the center.

Adelisa groaned as her phone went off, still reeling from the scene this morning. She picked up the phone and answered with "Officer Barnes how may I help you?" She wondered if it was the woman from her current case, but she didn't check caller ID. She removed the phone from her ear and growled. It was an officer-in-training. She put the phone back to her ear and said "what is it Jeffery? I'm working!"

Adelisa silently followed the small group. They looked over at the tavern, but went past it and toward the docks. Adelisa stiffened slightly, knowing the amount of new vampires but still decided to follow. Of course she did not trust newly turned. She watched the group join the others, but at a distance. She could hear them talking about their adventures and she rolled her eyes at how "amazing" they thought this all was. She hated it, but she shoved that down to watch the newbies at work.

Oh, Myst. Are you okay? I'm so sorry you aren't feeling well. Do what you need too. I think everyone will understand.

Adelisa looked up at her partner with a slight pout. "You're kidding, right?!" He shook his head. "No. I'm transferring to another department. I cannot handle all the male hate around here. I was better in narcotics." Adelisa rolled her eyes. "You're an idiot, Jenson. You never believed these women were raped!" Jenson smirked and shrugged. "They wanted it and are crying wolf. Exactly like-" Adelisa drew her handgun out and aimed it right at his head. Everyone gasped, even her ex-partner looked scared. "Leave right now, Detective." As soon as the words left her lips, Jenson ran toward the elevators and Adelisa put her gun back in the holster.

A soft sigh escaped Adelisa's lips as she saw a small group of newly turned vampires attempting to attack a small child, but failing. "You seem to be needing some assistance... or quite possibly a bit of blood?" The hungry eyes that were once on a defenseless child were now on the small brunette. "Get out of here or we'll kill you" stated the much taller man. Adelisa laughed softly and said "I have what you need and you are threatening my death? I am much older than you young man. I would take what I have and leave the child alone." The man growled and stalked over to her, thinking she was prey. Adelisa rolled her eyes and held out a bag of Crimson liquid. "You want it, right?" The small group nodded, stalking closer toward her like rabid beasts. "Then take it, but on one condition: you drink from nothing but animals and blood bags. Got it?" The group again nodded and Adelisa threw the bag toward them, the group attacking it. Adelisa walked past them and toward the small girl, kneeling down in front of her. "Hey, sweetie. Need any help?" she asked softly. The little girl hesitantly nodded and Adelisa held her hand out, the garbage so protectively laid out in front of the girl getting in the way. The group could've easily pushed it away, but the stench was so aweful that no one would move those bags. Adelisa yanked the girl into her arms, no matter how disgusting she smelt. "Go home before they notice you" the brunette said. The little girl looked up at her in a confused manner. "But-" Adelisa shook her head and put her index finger to her lips to shush her. The little girl nodded and scurried off, hopefully going home. Then again, Adelisa didn't trust anyone. She walked away from the small group and saw a small Tavern. She shook her head, sensing the amount of vampires in there. She turned back to the small group of new rogues and sighed, moving to hide in the shadows to watch what they do.
