Duvessa nodded and followed behind Clarity. She looked down at Clarity and smiled softly. "what are you thinking about, young one?" She remembered when she was that innocent, when the world hadn't shown its ugliness and shoved her in the middle of it.
Faeya crossed her arms in an annoyed way. "You are quite the loud one aren't you?" She sighed softly, trying to calm herself down. A slight breeze started to swirl around her and she knew if she got any more annoyed then someone would get injured. Faeya glanced up at Dawn once again and she said in a calm voice "treasure to you is very different than treasure to us, so your shouting is very unnecessary and unnerving. Please reframe from doing such again." She glanced up at Fotis then back at the group- "as for your 'treasure', we will consider your request. For the time being, would you like to enjoy what the island has to offer?"

All she wanted was to keep the peace. That was all. Hopefully nothing more came from it.
Mary pulled up to her stand in the market, a tight smile on her face. Obviously it was much more difficult to deal with people than with fruits, so her excitement this morning dimmed a bit at the thought of talking to people she barely knew. Though, if she got to know them then it wouldn't be as difficult. She started to unload the fruits, until the watermelons came into play. She bit her bottom lip, trying to figure out how to get them off her truck. It was the first time she sold watermelons, so this would take a while.
Adelisa snapped back at the comment. She wasn't expecting such a question. It was odd, but she answered it. "Well, a deep cut like that cannot just be healed alone. It has to be transferred, so I took the scar onto myself." She shrugged as if it really wasn't that big a deal. It wasn't to her. She's had more scars on her body than she could count at this point. Her mind went to the couple, the mates, that she saw. It was going to be so hard to explain to her mate, if he didn't instantly find her disgusting, about her past. The difficulty to even trust a man would set her mate running.

She came back to reality and looked at Morven. "Their love, Maria's and her mate's, it's quite beautiful. They balance eachother quite well. Her peaceful innocence and his reckless violence pair together almost harmoniously." She wasn't being sarcastic or immature, but just trying to put things into prospective.

Theo drank the blood with vigor, feeling his life come back to him. A slight smirk came to his lips as he chugged. Nothing could kill him. Not some whore slave, not some unruly family. Nothing could stop him. He was Theo after all. He looked at Jareth and said hoarsily "thank you, my companion. I am forever greatful." He gave him and tender pat on the shoulder before trying, somewhat failing, to sit up.
Mary smiled as she locked her house up, a sense of relief came to her. Today was going to be a different day, she was sure of it. Her eyes scanned her front yard and landed on a truck full of wooden crates. She loved the simplicity of her life now. She only wished she could share it with her beautiful sister, but a monster- no, she couldn't think of that right now. Instead, she walked over to her truck and drove to town. It was a short ways away but she always drove slow so she could take in the atmosphere.
I'm okay with anything really
Faeya glanced at Mint and become much more protective. Her eyebrows furrowed at the young woman. "What-what do you want?" Her eyes went to the other men and she bit her bottom lip nervously. She knew some would want their abilities for their own benefit. It was, of course, something they could not do. She looked at the girl again and noticed the greedy glint in her eye. It was in all of their eyes, but also adventure and experience. As if they haven't lived their entire life on one island like her.
Awesome! Can't wait ^~^
Adelisa looked over at Alistair's back and her eyes widened. Is he-? her questioning thought was cut short when he said his final piece. Her smile came before her answer as she said "thank you. Thank you so much." It came out as a whisper at first but then she said the former with a louder voice. She looked over at Maria and smiled softly. This was the woman she came to save. Whether killing Theo was really in her best interest… well that was quite questionable. Adelisa did want Theo dead in the beginning, but this woman… she needed Adelisa much more than Adelisa needed to kill.

She noticed at woman, Beatrix, walk out the door as soon as the manor was mentioned. She knew something was wrong with her, could sense it even, but Adelisa was in no way able to find out what was going on in her head. She, instead, decided to follow everyone as they left, maybe even talk to Maria a bit.

Theo was in a dark, dark place. Absolutely nothing and no one was there. It was extremely strange, actually. He wasn't in hell, nor in heaven. He was just… there. A voice took him from no where and he opened his eyes to see Jareth. He tried to talk, but his throat had just been sliced open so talking wasn't going to happen. Blood, he needed blood. He took his shaky hand and reached up to his neck, dipping a finger tip onto the blood and raising it to Jareth, trying to show he needed this.
Thanks :) Can't wait for this to start
