Just One Yesterday

"~I don't have the right name or the right look, but I have twice the heart~"
- Fall Out Boy and Foxes

Everyone looks at love differently. Some say "opposites attract" while others say "similarities equals love". No one has the true definition of love. Not even Cupid.

Why don't they test this? Well, now they are. They kidnapped, bought, even adopted kids for this test of love. Now, they aren't going to throw them into a room; but they will throw them into a mansion. They also have to go through many challenges such as giving eachother interviews and playing games with eachother so they can leave sooner. Will they find out eachother's stories? Or will they wish for just one yesterday?

We Are Alive
"~I want to see your animal side~"

Everyone in Westridge calls it Death Valley. No one knows that some call it home.

Deadly beings live in Death Valley. They thrive on the fact that the humans "sacrifice" some of their women. They just don't realize that the women are alive and in love with the monsters they were to be killed by. It's around that time and the monsters have become much more picky on who the humans are to fall for. What happens when the humans are more than even the monsters can handle?
Imma crouched down and whispered to the girl "come on. Let's get you to bed, sweetie." Imma's heart sank toward her stomach as she saw the innocence fade from the small girl's eyes. She saw her sister in the small girl. A very faded image of her sister. Now, her sister was a distorted picture of a girl she used to know. Imma put her hand out for the small girl and gave her a welcoming smile.

Idera smiled slightly and quickly said "thanks. I'm sorry for the suddenness of the situation." She felt relieved. He hadn't forced himself on her and she hadn't needed to give him much besides basic information. It felt amazing not to have to worry about such things anymore. She snapped out of her thoughts and said "I know you're probably thinking 'why you'."
Imma growled in a soft helpless way. She turned toward the T.V and said "someone break that damned television! We don't need anyone else having a mental breakdown!" She looked toward the small girl still in the corner holding her stuffed animal. As soon as Sam went on the defense, she sprang toward the girl to cover her. As she stood in front of the girl, she said to her "just stay here. Don't look at the screen. Don't look." She repeated 'don't look' as she stood between the girl and the television.
Idera's expression turned from puppy dog eyes to shock in an instant. "M-my name... my name is Idera." She stared at him for a moment, expecting a catch, before saying "uh... what... what's your name?" She was still in slight shock at the response. She was still waiting for that catch, but she figured it wasn't going to be as soon as the other guys. She heard more screams and she instantly felt her heart sink to her stomach.

Imma gripped her teeth. "Let her go! Please! I-I'll... I'll trade places with her! Just stop! We learned our lesson and we won't do it again! Please let her go!" She banged on the door a few more times. The side of her fists were turning black and blue as she slammed her fist against the door.
Anyone... ANYONE?!
I feel bad for Idera. I mess up my characters and I always feel bad about it.
As Idera noticed his invitation, she nodded and stepped in. She quickly closed the door behind her and she looked at him with big puppy dog eyes as she was used to giving men. "I-I need someone to protect me" she said bluntly. She wasn't going to beat around the bush. She never used too. "My sister is good at protecting me, but she isn't going to protect me for long." Idera looked up at him through her lashes. She knew nothing came for free. Not with the guys she's known in the past. "And in return, I'll give you what ever you want." She smiled softly at him, but she was dying inside again. She hated this part. In every situation she has been in, the guy always asked 'anything?' and she would have to give him anything. She mentally prepared herself to go to her happy place. She needed her happy place. Her full attention was on the young man standing in front of her, but her mind was not so forthcoming. Her mind went back to all the guys in the past; all the times she needed protection and never got it. She soon snapped out of her horrid day-mare and waited for the reaction of the guy she asked for protection from.
Idera saw the boy come to the door and she gave him her best big-eyed,worried look. She knew it was a defense mechanism, but she needed someone to protect her and her sister wasn't going to be able to do it alone. Idera was used to trading protection for everything she had. Even her sanity. Idera looked up at him and said "I-I'm sorry. I-I heard punching and was worried." She noticed him flinch to the screeches from the young girl and said "are you not used to this?" She was completely at home with this place; with this fear. She had yet to meet someone who wasn't.
Idera watched the boy run out of the room and she heard the screaming. Idera, a soft hearted person, had tears flow from her eyes. She followed the boy who ran out and heard punching from the room. Imma, unable to locate her sister, looked around the room in a scared way. "Where did Idera go?"

Idera quickly walked toward the room where the punching was happening and knocked softly. She heard the screams and tears ran down her cheeks. She was used to hearing screams. She was always the one screaming. Idera closed her eyes and wiped the tears away. No sense in crying. Idera knew that crying was a weakness and she tried to show as little as possible and only kept her baby act.

Imma ran up to the door and banged on it as hard as she could. "Let her out of there! You monsters!" She was basically throwing herself at the door.
