The fire began at 06:45. It raged for at least an hour. As the fire department arrived a sceam was heard inside the second floor. Jason jumped from a nearby building and into the burning house. He looked around seeing a little girl in a corner about to be crushed by a beam. Jason ran over and grabbed her as it smashed down. "Are you ok?" He asked her. She simply cried as she looked over at a body. Poor kid lost her mom... He thought. "Hay look at me. Look at me. You like jokes?" She nodded and he picked her up. "Alright. Knock knock." She looked at him. "who's.. There?" "Hoo." Jason saw a beam cracking and began to the window. "Hoo who?" She asked. "Wait, are you a owl?" He said as the beam broke. He jumped out the window and onto the street. He gave the girl to a fireman and looked at her. "I will tell you more jokes later." He said as he walked away.
