Hey guys and gals! I am a sixteen year old (almost seventeen! woo!) girl from the Northwest part of the United States. I am a writer, mostly fantasy or Sci Fi books. > John looked up as he heard something that sounded like an explosion. "Did you hear that?" he asked Ice as he looked around. He stood up, ran his hands through his hair to wake himself up and then grabbed his bag. "It sounded like something exploded near the forest," he said.
Ice looks toward the door, crossing her arms across her chest. Ice, unknowing to her, began to form on her fingertips, a defensive mechanism that she developed after they cleared the city out. "Yeah, I did. You want to go check it out?" She tried not to sound nervous, but in her effort, she manages to sound weak. She swallows hard and tries to put on her usual icy façade.
The teacher turns to Ramona and says, "Your turn."

Ever still smiles, looking at all of the people in the class. She knew a few these kids wouldn't make it pass a couple days, but she didn't think that there would be this many. She leans back in her chair.
Captain leads the others out into the street where Leo catches up with her. He grabs her arm and jerks her back toward him. "Listen, my group is going to have to make a little... detour," he tells her and jerks his thumb over his shoulder at Josh. "Bozo here forgot his weapons at his house." Captain growls and lets out a sigh
"Fine. But you meet us at that bank in two hours or else," she snarls. Leo dips his head in acknowledgement and turns back toward his group.
"Alright guys, we're making a detour," he yells. He looks at Josh. "Lead the way."
Captain, on the other hand, turns to her team and says, "We're meeting them at the bank. Make sure you have your powers and weapons ready. We'll be going in the best way possible." She grins at this statement. "We're going in through the roof."
Ever looks over at the two boys talking and smiles. She recognizes only one of them, a loner kid that she has seen around school. James, she thinks his name is. Everyone knew him has the _neutral_ or a guy who hasn't chosen a side for his classes. She didn't think of him as strange, but rather intriguing. Normally, people know if they are good or bad. They know if they are for the right or the wrong. She is just curious how he doesn't know. She turns around to face forward and sucks in some heat from around her. Her right palm ignites and she begins to spin the small ball of flame around her hand.
Pudding and Balthazar, I'm sorry to hear that...

Violet just smiles at Jack and then looks up as the PA system comes on with Mammoth making an announcement. She waits until it finishes before telling Jack, "Well I guess we don't have to go anywhere, considering we're already here." She smiles at him again and waits. Sure enough, Mammoth walks through the door and she sees him. He makes a few snide remarks to them, ones that she does not respond to but feels slightly offended at. She rolls her eyes and waves her hand over her shadow sword. It evaporates once again back into shadow and she places it in her vial before tucking the vial underneath her shirt.
Mammoth can go first. That way I have something to go off.
