A woman that your friend might have known. She also lives in New York. Her name... well no one really knew her real name. But I knew her as 'Captain'._** He smiles at Oliver. --- "Oliver, you may want to wrap up," Ice says. She's worried about the Blades finding them.

> "I heard that" Oliver said. It was quite a bit away. "First things first though." He added looking at Gideon. "How did you do that? What's your powers? And what are you doing?" Gideon stays silent, but he obeys with what Oliver has asked of him. He carefully draws off his shirt and it is now noticeable of two buckles across his chest. He unbuckles them and steps back. A pair of large, black wings now shoot out from back behind him and show off his eighteen foot wingspan. He looks at Oliver. **_I have no powers, but my telepathy. I am silently more reflexive than the average human. These wings are my curse._**

Ice whips around, looking toward the sound of the gun. "Anyone else hear that?" --- Gideon looks at Oliver and nods to him. His mouth does not move, but words can be heard among the ground. **_My name is Gideon._**

> Well, I like to find logical flaws in people's arguments, and sense Philip is basically me, he had to say something. Yeah, same here, but Ice isn't me. Trust me, if I had more time, I would come up with a better argument.

Ice grits her teeth, clenches her fists and counts to ten. She takes a deep, shaky breath, and says, "Fine. Do whatever. I'll be fine with whatever you all choose." She leans back against a tree, sulking, but as soon as her back touches the tree, it suddenly gets covered with ice. She leaps away, realizing it's the tree that the guy is in. --- Suddenly, the tree gets icy and Gideon slips. He falls down from the branch and lands directly in the middle of the ground. His head slams against the ground and he lets out a gasp of pain.

Oh. Sorry. :} Also, I want to apologize if Ice comes off as harsh or anything like that. It's heat of the moment stuff. I tend to write what I feel the character would say and feel in that moment.

((Sorry if I'm coming off as harsh. Heat of the moment stuff. XD)) "I wasn't thinking about it fully until now," she says. She shakes her head. "But you don't see the weakness. You just want to protect your sister. If they threatened to hurt her, how fast would you turn on us? If she was captured, how many of us would you turn over to get her back?" Ice knows she sounds harsh, but she just wants him to see the reality of them staying put and fighting. He needs to learn the difference between surviving and actually fighting.

Ice hates the tone of his voice. "Well, would you rather hide in your hole and have them find you and kill you without doing anything?" she snaps at him. "Or would you rather actually try moving and trying to survive? We could try and fight. We have power in numbers."
