I agree. The guns got a bit in the way last time. We can do a pure melee weapon thing then. It enables us to incorporate hand-to-hand, so.

Sounds good to me. :) We can work out the specifics in the PM thread once you get your character figured out.
@Green: I think we should skip the guns this time and stick with melee weapons or hand to hand, though admittedly my hand-to-hand probably needs the most work. I haven't written an unarmed fight in ages.
Hey Green. :) I sent you that PM I promised. Let me know what you think when you get the chance.
I think he means the problem of being accused of metagaming, not the problem of having to eject from his mech.

And yes, this is still going on. >_<
Glitchy specifically said that he saw no problem with Green's use of an NPC from outside the battle to instigate his ejection from the mech.

Or is that not the issue you want addressed?
Sounds like fun, actually. I'll write up a low-tier ability set and PM it to you, then let the personality and stuff come out in the writing (which I generally prefer to do anyway, since it lets me get a feel for the character before setting his personality in stone).
Arty crouched in silence for several moments, studying the fortress ahead. He could see several external defensive positions from his position on the icy rock outcropping, but it was nearly impossible to make out details from this distance, even for his enhanced eyes. In an effort to mollify his companion, he automatically discarded the first seven ideas that came to him, as they all required an excessive amount of bloodshed, which he'd been asked to avoid. That left the eighth idea.

"If we can get to the base of the tower undetected, scaling the outside shouldn't be a problem, and from there we just break through a window at the top and find your buddy." He looked at the robot next to him, unsure of his capabilities when it came to climbing sheer metal surfaces. "I can carry you if you'd like."
@Green - I've got several characters running around in my head that would fit the bill, though they'd have to be fleshed out on paper and adapted for use in the multiverse. Low-tiers aren't usually my preference though. I'm too fond of the twists and quirks you can give a character with powers (like Arty's lack of normal emotions). It's a little harder to find those quirks within the restraints of a low-tier setting, especially when I've been in a high-tier mindset all weekend working on this techie character.

Did you have any particular scenarios in mind? Something to potentially spark my creativity and get me back in a low-tier mindset?
Troll (Internet)

In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

Beta, if you can't control yourself and this apparent deep-rooted need to act the part of the troll (which you just confirmed by admitting that you were intentionally trying to bait Green), could you please stop posting in the OOC? At least until you're able to get yourself under control? I was really looking forward to writing with you before all this happened, and I would still love to in the future, but if this is the kind of treatment I can look forward to receiving if I do something you disapprove of, then it's just not worth it. If you can't be civil and stop trying to bait people, someone's eventually going to report you and you won't have any choice in the matter.
Green, it's probably in everyone's best interests if you ignore Beta's posts for the time being. He's stated his case numerous times and called in a third party to review the events, so acknowledging his inflammatory remarks in response to your explanations is only going to make the situation less bearable for everyone involved. I'd recommend waiting for Glitchy to finish his review before discussing the topic any further.

Though it should be worth noting that Glitchy wasn't given any GM powers by Skalla, so his assessment isn't going to hold much weight unless both sides of the argument agree to accept it. Which isn't to say it's not welcome. He was invited by Beta to put in his two cents, so he's more than entitled to do so. Thanks for helping out, man. :)

EDIT: Or you could beat me to the punch... Lol.
