and no I totally didn't force that joke because I drew it while procrastinating and didn't want it to go to waste

Sato Hashimoto // Warakuma High, Class 3-3
MAY 7TH 2015, THURSDAY
Afterschool

Medical school... Sato wasn't fond of the concept of practicing a profession he hardly cared for, especially one like that, but his parents had always insisted on it. His dad had decided on it even before he had left, and his mother was still all about the idea. Sato Hashimoto, after all, had no siblings and his parents wanted their only baby to become someone they could be proud of. He wanted to protest, to tell his mother that wasn't what he wanted to do with his life, but he knew she'd ask him what he wanted to do instead. And Sato had no answer to that. So he just kept studying for his exams like any good student would.

The bell signalling the end of the school day tolled and Sato shut his books the exact way he did every other day. Sato wasn't even sure why he was still thinking about it, since it was in the morning his mother had brought up his university and all that. He waited for the crowd of students to dissipate, like always, before getting up. The boy shoved his books into the school bag hanging from his desk, carelessly tossing his pencils in with the texts before picking it up. As he walked around his desk to get to the door closest to him, a clattering caught his attention. His phone had tumbled to the ground after having bumped his desk by accident.

Sato knelt down to pick it up off the ground, but after pocketing it and going to stand back up, he hit his head on the side of his desk-- or rather, he was hit. The teen was knocked to the ground, colliding with another desk on the way down. He looked up from the floor at the cause of the incident, only to see Rokurou's as-always inexpressive face with one knee on his desk. The taller boy had pushed the desk forward just far enough for Sato to biff it on his own. Sato propped himself back up and glared at the other boy. "What do you want?" They still weren't exactly the best of friends again, and Sato didn't want to act politely in case this guy was going to be an asshat again.

Rokurou withdrew his knee, standing up straight and looking down at Sato from his minor height advantage. "You're hanging out with me today," He said, giving just the slightest smirk.

"Fine," Sato muttered, as he grabbed his school bag off the floor. "But why'd you go through the effort to find me?" Sato followed Rokurou as he strode out of the classroom without responding. He reiterated his question. "Don't you have anyone else to bother?"

"Nah, you're my go-to guy." Rokurou answered after the second version of the question. "My girl's busy today and I got nothing better to do."

Sato frowned, shoving his hands into his pockets as he walked. "We-- moreso you-- should be studying right now. Midterms are right around the corner, you know."

Rokurou pushed the school doors open with his knee and walked backwards out, looking at Sato as he responded. "Come on, Sato. Don't be a nerd. I'd prefer going singing some karaoke or something instead of shoving my nose into some books any day." He did a few hand gestures as he spoke, but Sato didn't really understand what they were supposed to mean, so he just gave Rokurou a sour look as he backed up further. Sato was about to rebuttal, when he remembered that there were some stairs in front of the school. He was just about to warn him of it when he heard a resounding "Fuck!" come from the other third-year.

The stairs weren't particularly steep nor were they long (as he remembered from when he had biffed it on the steps weeks ago), but it was still a little horrifying to see Rokurou tumble backwards down the steps. Sato flew down the cement stairs and crouched down next to Rokurou, who was slowly pushing himself off the ground. "Are you okay?!" He asked, scanning the boy up and down for any obvious injuries.

"No, I'm dying. Tell my mom I love her." Rokurou replied dryly, pushing himself onto his ass, rubbing the back of his hair. Sato was a little relieved to see that Rokurou wasn't seriously hurt (as far as he could tell), but his irritation remained.

"How can you seriously forget about the stairs, Rokurou?" A bit of a hypocritical statement, but Sato didn't really care. In all honesty he wasn't in the mood for studying and the distraction was welcome. "If you're as fine as your sarcasm implies, then let's get going."

"Oh, no." Rokurou groaned as he rubbed his shoulder. "That still hurt like a bitch. Give me a minute..." Sato let out a long sigh and stood beside Rokurou (who'd scooted himself onto the grass), leaving plenty of space between them. As he watched Rokurou try to stretch out wherever he'd hurt himself, Sato gathered that it was mostly the boy's shoulders and arms that took the fall. The thought of giving a shoulder massage crossed Sato's mind, but he quickly got rid of that idea. That'd be... a little too unsolicited.
Well, to be fair only like two people have posted for the new day so far. I would've gotten something up by now but I'm struggling for ideas besides generic bumping into somebody/wandering around/cafe visit. Hrm.
Finally finished Sato's dungeon. I don't think I'll ever be completely happy with it so I had to force myself to just send it in as-is. Whatever. I'll probably post tomorrow or something. Idk.
[aggressively waiting for Sword to finally reveal the Big Secret(tm) after the timeskip happens]
waiting for the timeskip like
well what towel do I fucking get. I know this is an issue born of my own inadequacy but there's no right answer. the og towel has been festering with other laundry for like 2.5 hours but it's def not enough to warrant the use of a fresh, new towel. this is a very serious issue and I'd appreciate if you'd take ur memes and go be inconsiderate elsewhere?
Sometimes after I take a shower, like three hours pass and some of my bangs are still a bit wet. Like excuse me?? I didn't sign up for this literal bullshit when I got my haircut. Do you expect me to fish a towel out of the laundry bin or get an entirely new towel?? I can't believe this.
yeah I totally finished it
hehe

Rokurou…” A soft voice whispered, a gentle hand running down the boy’s exposed back. He groaned, not bothering to lift his face from the pillow he was sleeping on. The girl pushed herself onto her side and shook Rokurou a bit to wake him up. Silently, he rolled onto his back and looked over at his companion, eyes only half open. “I need to get home soon.”

The third-year scratched at his jaw. “Why? I thought you said your parents weren’t coming home?” Rokurou replied, dreading the idea of getting out of the warm nest of blankets. Plus, he didn’t remember where he’d tossed his clothes and finding those would be an awkward adventure in the dark.

“Sorrryyy… I forgot my dad got back before school…” She ran her fingers across the male’s chest, for no real reason. It was almost counter-productive, in a way. Rokurou stretched his arms above his head, letting out a yawn as he did so. With a grumble he dragged himself out of bed and stumbled blindly forward. Though he was still in the buff, he didn’t make any effort to cover himself. There wasn’t any reason to, in his eyes.

“Alright, just lemme find my pants…” Rokurou said, right before bumping into the drumset in the corner, a loud clamoring cringingly resulting. It took him a while but he did eventually find his jeans, pulling them on swiftly as soon as his hands found the denim. He threw on his black shirt and cracked the door, making sure nobody had woken up before he and his lover absconded from the house.

Sato Hashimoto // Warakuma High, Library
MAY 6TH 2015, WEDNESDAY
Afterschool

Sato Hashimoto was rhythmically tapping a pen against his textbook. That is, until someone gave him an ugly look. The boy returned to studying whatever was on the current page— some type of math— but it didn’t take long for him to lose interest again. Today was not a studying kind of day. He almost wished he had went to archery instead, but after the last time he’d gone there, it seemed better to let it cool off first. Hopefully it wasn’t long-term damage or anything.

Sato looked over at his study partner. Naomi was hard at work, writing down neat notes after looking at the page for a bit. He still hadn’t gotten over that phase where his face would start burning a bit if he looked at her soft features for too long. Even the light brown bedraggled head of hair she had at the moment was enough to trigger the painful blush. The girl across the table kept shooting him glares and he’d try to return to studying each time to no avail. Sato eventually ended up just staring at the textbook like he’d absorb just by watching the writing long enough even though he was busy in his own thoughts. Was she even interested in him or was this just a friendly friend friendship? Where were the clues?

Whatever, Sato thought, it’s not like any relationship I start would last past the end of the year.
