Current Drawing pictures of my characters and mulling over backstories has to be one of the best (and more common) ways to avoid doing homework for me~

Bio

Konnichiwa, tomodachi ;3 You may call me Sephie, as most people do. I am indeed female, and I have a few years experience of roleplaying. I'm an artist, aiming for a professional career somewhere in art, so all of my OC's are a little...imaginative XD let's just say that I gotta draw my own pictures for almost all of them. I like a lot of detail. I'm also a writer at heart, so if I really let loose, some of my replies in a roleplay can get pretty lengthy. I'm a complete fantasy roleplayer, but I like things on the creepy, slightly violent, action-packed, and dramatic side. With some humor added in there too, of course. I love anime and manga, and I am currently learning Japanese through odd methods of self-teaching (mostly anime and vocaloid songs ^w^"). I love cats, and you're gonna see that a lot in my characters. One of my favorite animes is Soul Eater, closely followed by Elfen Lied and Higurashi. I love playing Pokemon as well, and I'm pretty good at it too. I spend most of my days drawing, listening to music, watching stuff on youtube and playing video games (when I'm not smothered in homework, that is.)

"Oh my goodness..." Ammi's eyes widen, along with everyone else's, at the sight of the dragon being torn apart by a single fluid motion. "Should we go down there and join the others in battle, Felixter?" Kayori turns to the cat demon boy. "Not just yet. It seems there's already many people on the field. Though there's strength in numbers, someone needs to stay here and make sure no one inside gets hurt. Besides...those witches seem to work better with a crowd, anyway...more "toys" to play with, in their eyes." Felixter shakes his head with a bit of a scowl. "Hmm...seems he knows I'm a witch. Too bad. Oh well. I was just about on the last page of this here, anyway." Nymne shapeshifts back into her normal appearance, and goes to carefully place the book back where it had been in the library's shelves. "You kiddin' me? As if I'd let you have all the fun! Ah, I only wish Sephie-chan could be out here." Meora grins back at Morgan before turning towards an orange-colored phantom claw-strike aimed right at her. At the last moment, Meora flips into the air, and lands on outstretched the phantom arm, balancing precariously for but a second before she runs down it and starts shooting at Numirra. Numirra throws the neko assassin up into the air with that set of claws to help her dodge the shots, and then goes about trying to fend off both Morgan and Srg's magic. After getting his a few times by both, Numirra takes on her normal, intensely bored expression again out of the blue. "Screw this..." Numirra yawns. She shapeshifts quickly into a small mouse, and runs underneath Morgan. She turns back into herself again once behind her, and then pretty much just tries to strangle her. She tries to dig her claws, crackling with electricity now, into her neck as well. Meora, in the meantime, flips several times in the air to try and help break her fall. She lands on her feet for the most part, and upon seeing Numirra's new tactic to defeat her friend, Meora tries to shoot the witch right between the eyes. "I don't think so~..." Meora is grabbed by the tail and thrown backwards onto the ground. As she scrambles back up, she sees the smallest witch walking calmly towards her with a sickly sweet smile. The small witch pauses for a moment to dodge Srg's magic, then lands back next to Meora with a giggle. "Oh Meora...it's okay. I know you don't want to lose anymore friends or family." Noruani coos gently at the neko, using her own lavender-colored magic to bind her in place. Noruani's eyes glow, and they appear to have red rings in them now, much like a certain evil demon residing at the top of the Demon Highlands. "But...you can definitely be my friend, and you won't have to lose me...hai?" The young girl locks eyes with Meora, and the neko assassin finds that she's unable to turn away. Her pupils disappear, laving empty green circles in their place. "Kimi wa tomodachi...hai?" Noruani uses Meora's second language to further pry into her mind. "H....hai, Noru-c-chan...yamete......kimi...w-wa...y-yamete...s-sou janai...yo...!....tomodachi..." Meora is clearly still fighting against the little witch's hypnotic control, but she appears to be losing even still. "Yoi~!" Noruani laughs, clapping her hands together with glee. "If that's true, then I want you to go help Numirra for me, kudasai~!" "H..hai, Noru-sama..." Meora turns around slowly, eyeing Numirra and Morgan. She starts running towards them, aiming to shoot. "Perhaps I'd make a fine puppet-master after all...just like Father...." Noruani grins maliciously from the sidelines of the battle. "AGH! You people have no manners?! Don't you know how to treat a lady?!" Natasha shrieks. She finally pulls her wing free of Kiroketsu's purple glue, but then, ninja stars are thrown into them. Natasha's eyes glow bright with fury. "FINE. I know exactly how to punish you people now. Someone else will just have to suffer!" Natasha huffs. "What do you mean?!" Kiroketsu demands, getting ready to swing his guitar like a bat at the witch. She wags a claw at him. "Ah-ah-ah, Kiro. You should know by now, you can't just kill a witch and break her curse." Natasha cackles. "Mirui has already been injected with my specialty curse. Her mind could belong to my illusions in an instant, should you choose not to follow my demands." "Tch! Puh-lease! We've gotten your curses fixed before!" Kiroketsu growls. "You can't scare me!" "No...but I can scare Mirui." Natasha gets a dangerous glint in her eyes. "H...huh?" Mirui blinks as her vision starts to swirl all of a sudden. The scenery around her changes into an illusionary landscape of dark, jagged obsidian ground, and blood red skies as far as the eye can see. Mirui is alone for a bit, which frightens her enough, but then, she hears voices. "Mirui..." "We want ourselves back..." "Give them back..." "Our...parts..." Mirui is suddenly surrounded by a mob of different creatures, all a deathly yellow, who appear to be zombies or ghosts. They're the souls of those who Felixter killed to get what he needed to create Mirui. Of course, she doesn't know that up front. In her deep subconscious the information lies...and Natasha has drawn it back out to the surface through her wicked magic. Back in reality, Mirui's eyes have gotten huge, and all of a sudden she's started crying, and crumpling down into fetal position, clawing at her own scalp. "No! NO! STOP IT, I'M A GOOD G-GIRL!" Mirui roars. "M-Mirui?" Kiroketsu takes his eyes off of Natasha for but a second, but it turns out that's just a second too much. In that instant, Natasha is able to rip the guitar out of Kiroketsu's claws with her magic, and then hit him over the head with it like a bat, just as he was planning to do to her. She grabs the dazed spirit guardian by the ears and stuffs the guitar back down his throat violently, but only halfway, so he;'s left struggling and choking on the ground by her feet. "Now, to repay the ones over there..." Natasha uses her magic again, yanking the ninja stars out of her wings and throwing them back at dangerous speed towards Kyru, Joe, and Srg. "Games? We LOVE games! Our shadow queen hires us to create games all the time! And we also loooove playing games with out living friends too! Sadly, they don't seem to appreciate the fact that the high amount of danger makes them so fun~!" Amber replies to Karl with a huge grin. Amber and Clancy both gasp at the colorful bombs that Karl throws up into the air. "I LIKE THIS GUY A LOT!" Clancy cheers aloud. "HE SHOULD BE OUR NEW BEST FRIEND! WE SHOULD INVITE HIM DOWN TO SHADOWLAND FOR A PARTY, STAT!" Amber nods enthusiastically. "WE SHOULD HAVE HIM HOST WITH US AT ONE OF OUR GAMES!" Both of the shadows cry out at the same time with laughter. "Oh dear lord..." Nimika sighs, still trying to ignore them. Suddenly, the center jewel on her necklace starts to glow again, and she hears a familiar voice in her head. Nimika... "Master...?" Nimika whispers. "Is there something you need?" "Not from you yet...I just thought I'd let you know what's going on back on the surface..." Nimika is silent for awhile as she listens to the Master's description of the battle going on in front of the hotel. By the time he finishes, Nimika is grinning with satisfaction.
I added a new profile for Yorugiro on the CS section, in my ghost list :3
"Oh, I see you've already taken the liberty of making yourselves food! That's good. Unfortunately all the food left here went and spoiled long, long ago..." Abernathy nods towards Lucas and Fred before he turns back to Makoto and Minako. "Absolutely sir! After all, the ladies need be shown respect, eh? Miss, would you prefer I be something else?"
"Oh, it's completely fine. Please, be what you feel like. Just...be wary of where your claws and teeth are. Wouldn't want anyone to get hurt." Minako replies to the ghost.
"Of course! I hardly brawl at all anyway, my dear. I mean, unlike some other residents here..." Abernathy chuckles with a glance at Ellysa.
"Oi! You wanna go, dino?" Ellysa whips around to face Abernathy. "I bet you could turn into a huge fire-breathing dragon if you wanted, and you'd still fall to my mighty sword! I-" Ellysa is cut off after hearing what Makoto has to say to her.
"There's a monster down there...no one sane would venture down there by their own will." Renn murmurs, trembling a bit.
"Yes, the girl's right. The beast down there is possibly the least friendly thing in the whole place, including that ghoul Kuroneki. Actually, me and Renny here are pretty good friends, seeing as I saved her from that beast. Renny got thrown down there on accident by another resident here, and the monster was gonna eat her. I stormed down there as fast as I could. Almost lost my other arm in the process." Ellysa unbuckles some of the armor covering her right shoulder, showing off a line of stitches in her skin. "I know Renny doesn't like to fight, but I'm hopin' that one of these days, she'll be forced to fight back, and then she can get stronger too!"
"Does this monster down there have a name...?" Minako asks all of the ghosts in front of her.
"It's cliche, but most people call him "The Dark One", or, "The Living Black"." Amelia offers from where she lounges now, on the rail for the staircase.
"...His name is Yorugiro." Abernathy answers Minako's question more directly. "He's a fiendish beast with a horrid temper. Personally, me and Negloria think he's behind people disappearing in this mansion. I'd even be willing to believe that Ellysa might be right, and that he's behind our binding curse..."
"Hi Karl! BACON IS AWESOME AND WE LOVE TURNING PEOPLE INTO BACON!" Clancy breaks into a wide, insane grin. "Hello there, Karl! PEOPLE TASTE KIND OF LIKE PORK I DON'T KNOW WHY MORE PEOPLE DON'T TURN THEM INTO BACON IT'S AWESOME AND DELICIOUS~!" Amber follows suit. "And now all 3 of them are talking that way..." Nimika mutters, shaking her head with a sigh. She looks back at the schedule she was given, trying to ignore the three crazy people right beside her as she reads. "Hmph...how ridiculous." Nymne murmurs, having already taken a book from the library and walked to a window in another empty hallway to watch what was going down below. She watches her sisters get trapped in what looks like purple crystal, and shakes her head. "Well...I do want to see what these people can actually do in a battle...I've never seen Sephie's group fight...because my sisters never let me out..." Nymne trails off in a bitter tone while talking to herself. She turns back to the task at hand, and puts her palm up against the glass of the window. She concentrates on the area outside where her sisters are trapped while a golden magic energy leaks out and swirls around her. Nymne begins muttering something quietly in the native language of the Demon Highlands. She stops with a satisfied look when she hears a thunderous roar in the distance. She turns her back to the window, leaning against it and opening her book to start reading, as if she'd been doing that the whole time. "Ugh! Damn!" Natasha hisses within her purple rock prison. "Well, this just isn't any fun...but I believe help will be arriving shortly." Noruani yawns, unworried. "What do you mean?" Numirra asks. At that time, the roars from beyond grow louder. The witches turn to look behind them. "W-what?!" Kiroketsu pushes himself up from the ground. He sees something large and dangerous flying towards the yard in front of the floating hotel, and his eyes widen with fear. Then he sees that Mirui is free, and rushes towards her. "MIRUI!" Kiroketsu shrieks. "KIRO!" Mirui cries. The two run towards each other, but a huge gust of wind from the flapping wings of the dangerous creature now right above them knocks them away in the opposite direction. Descending upon the yard is a huge, beastly golden dragon, almost bigger than the Shava Hotel. It's eyes burn a bright green, and it's claws are harder than diamond. "Is...is that our help?" Natasha blinks in awe. "Yes..." Noruani grins. "...Nice work, Nymne..." She mutters under her breath with a giggle. The dragon gives out a deafening roar, and strikes the rock prison of all 3 witches with one fell swoop of it's mighty claws. They shatter quickly. "Huh. Deus ex dragina..." Numirra smirks, unfurling her wings and flying away from the rock wreckage. Her two sisters follow suit. "Now then, Natasha?" Noruani snaps her fingers. "I'm on it. Numirra?" Natasha glances at the witch in orange. "Right." Numirra nods, and flies to stand in front of Morgan. Using her orange magic, she gives herself a pair of extendable phantom claws, and moves to strike at the tactician girl. "Oh no you don't! Not without me!" Meora cries, and rushes down the stairs. In her impatience to run down all of them, she goes about 2/3 of the way down before jumping in the air and flipping down the rest, landing on the ground right behind Morgan. She takes out her pistol, twirls it in her hand, and starts shooting. Numirra quickly moves out of the way, and uses her second pair of claws to try and strike out at Meora as well. "Now, then...time for some fun!" Natasha eyes Mirui, who's just now getting herself up off of the ground. Kiroketsu is doing the same several feet away. The witch in green uses her wings to rush at the monster girl. Kiroketsu catches this and gasps in horror. "MIRUI, LOOK OUT!" He tries to get to her before the worst can happen, but Natasha is too speedy. She tackles the monster girl and bites her fangs into her neck. The fangs glow green for a couple seconds, injecting a curse into Mirui's system before Kiroketsu manages to grab the witch and throw her off. "Pick on someone of your own caliber, you hag!" Kiroketsu yells. "Aw, the big pervert has a crush. How surprising." Natasha cackles sarcastically. "FINE, THAT'S IT!" Kiroketsu shouts. He opens his mouth and reaches into himself. "Ugh...that is disgusting..." Natasha gets up with a distasteful look at the guardian spirit. After reaching around, Kiroketsu grabs ahold of something, and pulls a wooden guitar out of himself. It's covered in translucent purple spirit goop. This just makes Natasha recoil in disgust even more. "WHO WANTS A SONG?" Kiroketsu grins somewhat fiendishly. He begins to play an upbeat tune while strumming the guitar. With each strum, a glob of the purple goop is launched towards Natasha one catches her wing, and ends up sticking her to the ground like glue. "EW! What the hell is this stuff?!" Natasha shrieks with fury and disgust. "Huh...I guess that's why Sephie keeps him around, huh?" Kayori mutters from where she watches. "He's a pretty good guitar player, actually. I hate to admit it, but the tune's pretty good..."
"That's incorrect! I have been to the Heavens! I lived there! I still do!" Ellysa shouts agitatedly at Joerose. "I just happen to be trapped down here for now, but I will find my own way out!" "Ellie, it's okay, we're all stuck-" Renn tries to calm the angel down a bit. "QUIET!" Ellysa points her sword back at the demon, but finds that there is now a human standing in her way. She blinks at Makoto for a moment, then laughs. "Renn doesn't need saving! She just needs to grow a spine!" The angel turns then to Riley with the same loud laughter. "Fighting? We're just sparring, right Renn?" "B-But...I told you I couldn't...I don't like fighting..." Renn continues to cower behind Makoto. "Tch, Renn, Renn, Renn. You'll never change with that attitude!" Ellysa tsks, shaking her head. "...I haven't changed in over 2 centuries. Why would I suddenly change now...?" Renn murmurs. "Uh, s-so, Ellysa, is it?" Minako regains her composure, clearing her throat. "You're an angel?" "Yes! I was a warrior first, one of the only women, and one of the youngest!" Ellysa boasts pridefully. "I fought my way through many a battle valiantly! If that one slimy bastard hadn't used a cheat of his, I'd have at least lived a few more months on Earth!" "And...you're trapped here? How'd you even get here from the Heavens?" Minako frowns. "I was sent down here for a girl as a guardian angel. Negloria. When I tried to make a gateway back to the Heavens, I found that it couldn't be opened. It's been 3 years now. I've kept sparring with Renn and others here daily to keep my strength up, so perhaps I can finally take on the fiend in this place's basement! I believe he's got something to do with this horrid curse..." 'Sounds important to note...' Minako thinks to herself while she listens. "My apologies, friends!" Abernathy's voice calls down from the stairs. He floats back down, but now he's back in his scarier dinosaur form again. "I have returned! Ah, I see you've met Ellysa and Renn now!" "What happened up there?" Minako asks the cordial ghost. "Ah, Negloria got upset about something. I went up there to comfort her. "And...you did that in this form?" Minako gives Abernathy a strange look. "I don't know why, but she seems to prefer this form to anything soft of cuddly, like the rabbit I was earlier..." Abernathy shrugs. "If you'd like, I can change again for you, though, my dear guests.
"Oh, I don't know if you really want to talk to them, they're-" Nimika starts, but a realization dawns over her. This person she's standing next to actually does act a lot like the shadows in some respects. "...Never mind." Amber and Clancy look up at Karl, blinking at him from within Nimika's shadow. They both suddenly grin, and jump out of the witch's shadow on the ground to stand before Karl. "I like this guy! Hi, I'm Clancy! I like waffles!" Clancy greets. "Me too! I'm Amber! I like pancakes~!" Amber giggles. "Oh, and we also both feed on dead people!" Clancy cheers. "Can't go wrong with a fresh cadaver soaked in fear~!" Amber sings. "Oh goodness...what have I done...?" Nimika sighs under her breath to herself. Kayori and the others look up at the bubble when it opens up and produces a staircase. "Wow. That's pretty neat..." Kayori grins. Mirui looks excitedly up at the bubble. "I knew it! It's a magical bubble party, Kayori!" Mirui squeals. "Alright, Mirui." Kayori chuckles. "You go up first, kids." Kayori turns to Ammi's two sons, who travel up the staircase. Kayori starts climbing up, but halfway upwards, she realizes that Mirui isn't following her. Kayori turns around. "Hey, Mirui? Wh-" "LOOK, KAYORI!" Back on the ground, Mirui looks as if she's about to burst with excitement. It appears that three shining white unicorns of different sizes have come to approach her. "Oh man!" Kayori grins. "Mirui's waited forever to see a real unicorn...!" The tallest of the unicorns steps forward, and touches her horn to Mirui's shoulder. Mirui can hardly keep her excitement contained...until things start to change. "H-huh?!" Kayori stands in alert as soon as a magic translucent green box forms around Mirui, and the unicorn steps back. Mirui knocks on the box, but finds it completely solid. Suddenly, the three unicorns surrounding her change shape. Mirui and Kayori are both struck with the utmost horror. "What a foolish monster." Natasha cackles cruelly, along with Noruani and Numirra. They turn towards Kayori and the hotel in the floating bubble. "You should run along now, girl, before we get impatient." Noruani hisses at Kayori with the utmost malice and a fiendish grin. "Go on, go tell your little boyfriend Felixter. Because, you see...Mirui isn't just trapped. Show them, Natasha." Natasha nods to her youngest sister, and looks around. She spots a bird in the sky, and using her magic, summons phantom claws to stretch out and grab the bird. She pulls it back down, and puts it into the same type of magic box as Mirui. Then, with a snap of her fingers, the inside walls of the box grow sharp spikes, impaling the bird from every angle until it is but a bloody mess of feathers. Kayori's horror grows even larger, and Mirui begins frantically pounding on the walls of her box prison, freaking out. Even though she's smaller than Sephie or Felixter, and younger as well, Kayori doesn't flee so easily. She starts to run down the stairs again, using her anger to try and control her huge shadow arm. The witches snicker at this, not seeming worried in the slightest. Numirra uses her orange magic this time to catch Kayori by the gut, and shot her fast back up the stairs and right into the wall across from the front doors in the hotel. "Good to know. That must sound like music to Ammi's ears over here." Meora chuckles. "Like I suspect Michael of anything." Ammi rolls her eyes. "I just worry that Kiroketsu did something. He could have possessed Sephie, or-" "It's obviously fine." Felixter shakes his head with a sigh and a smile. "Just let it go for now, Ammi. Morgan's right anyway. No one wants Sephie waking up only halfway from a dream like this. She could become unstable in seconds. The walls don't need to be repainted red." "Ooh...y-yeah, that's definitely something not to desire..." Ammi grimaces. "Partner up again with you? Hai!" Meora nods enthusiastically. "As one of the few people I've come to truly trust, I'd be happy to." Suddenly, there's a loud noise from the ground floor. "What was that...?" Felixter murmurs. "F...FELIXTER!" "Is that Kayori?" Ammi's ears perk up. The group looks at each other, and they rush down the stairs to see Kayori picking herself up from the floor. "It depends on what your definition of failure is." Kiroketsu huffs at Joe before turning to Kayori. "Heeeeyyyy, it's Kay-Kay! How're you doing? Ooh, ooh, is Mirui here?!" It was common knowledge between the group of friends about something that happened between Kiroketsu and Mirui long ago, and that Kiroketsu currently has some sort of crush on the monster girl, for whatever reason. "As if I'd let her anywhere near you." Kayori growls towards Kiroketsu. "Kayori, are you okay?" Felixter runs over to her and helps support her as she stands. "I-I'm fine, but Mirui's in trouble. She's out there trapped by some of the witches!" Kayori replies quickly. "Oh good lord..." Ammi groans unhappily. "Mirui's in trouble?!" Kiroketsu gasps with horror. He then puffs out his chest and turns towards the door. "DON'T WORRY, MIRUI! YOUR KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR IS HERE TO-GWWWAAAAAAAAAAH!" Before anyone can stop him, Kiroketsu runs outside of the hotel, but promptly trips on one of the top stairs, and tumbles the whole way down to the ground, landing on his face. "Purple kitty man!" Mirui gasps "Are you okay?! Why did you fall on your face? Stairs aren't a fun carnival ride!" "Kimi wa jitsu ni baka da na...?" Meora puts her face in her palm at the sight. "Thanks..." Nymne nods towards Joe, and makes her way towards the library, following his instructions. It's about then when she hears the commotion back from the lobby, about how her sisters have captured Mirui. She narrows her eyes. "Hm...I was sure they'd go for the little "damsel in distress" Kayori..." Nymne murmurs to herself, and keeps on going until she finds the library and heads inside.
...Beef?
"Sounds correct to me. Still, investigating this place would probably be the best way to find out for sure. It definitely seems that we can't just go questioning Negloria on that theory...it would be unsafe." Minako concludes in response to Makoto.
"Neggi is hiding in the upstairs closet again anyway." Amelia looks up at Minako and Makoto, circling back and forth around each person's ankles. "You can't go up there unless you have a way. The stairs have holes. They've dropped people into the basement before...and if they survive that fall...they won't survive the one who lurks down there."
"Right...another good reason not to go anywhere near the upstairs room for a bit." Minako nods slowly, looking a bit more concerned now. Whatever lived in the basement sure didn't sound very friendly.
Suddenly, there's the sound of shattering glass from upstairs, and a small wail starting up. Abernathy's rabbit ears stand straight up in attention.
"Oh! Please, do excuse me, I'll be back in no more than 5-10 minutes, guests." He seems incredibly hurried, using his ghostly ability to float and rush all the way upstairs.
"I wonder what that was about..." Minako murmurs. She doesn't have much time to ponder on it before there are more noises, which happen to come from behind the door that Joerose decided to pass through.
"C'MON, RENN, LET'S GO!"
"ELLYSA, STOP!"
The door bursts open, and a small demon girl with gray skin and black hair runs out. She skids to a halt upon being startled by all of the new people she sees in the mansion, but right about then, an angel with braids and armor runs out of the room after Renn, sword high in hand.
"I...I don't know which is scarier!" The demon girl whimpers with fright, her eyes glancing quickly back and forth from the group of newcomers to the rowdy angel.
"Huh?" The angel only notices the new people in the mansion after getting in position to lop off the demon girl's head. "...Is this...a rescue party for me?" The angel turns indignant and determined after assuming this of the adventurers. "I don't need any help! I shall find my way out of this ghoulish prison myself! The Havens shall honor my name!"
"Well, yeah!" Meora grins, agreeing with Morgan's statement on her father. "And an awesome one at that and-...m-matte, nani?!" Meora's expression flips to confusion after she hears Morgan's guess at where Sephie went. "Should I...do something about that...?" Ammi looks at the door to the room a bit uneasily. "It's probably fine. We don't want to disturb either's rest. Especially not when Sephie's in the middle of memories. She could wake up in a state of delusion, and then the heads would roll..." Felixter replies. "Well, alright then. No one wants that..." Ammi nods. "GAH! Hey!" Kiroketsu complains, rubbing his head where he was hit. "I'm not a pet, dammit! Don't try and treat me like one! Besides, my name isn't Joe." He sticks out his long tongue. "Ah, thank you." Nymne bows to Joe and Kiroketsu. She stands back up straight with a pleasant smile. "What kind of book? Oh, anything interesting. Maybe something of a somewhat higher concept and vocabulary. I just want to sort of 'stretch' my mind, if you understand what I mean." Natasha, Numirra, and Noruani wait outside of the hotel for awhile in their animal forms, waiting for at least one more member of Sephie's group to show up. They don't have to wait much longer before a portal opens up on the ground, and 4 familiar figures step out. "Is this the place? A flying place?" The largest of the new arrivals, a monster-like girl with bluish-green skin views the floating hotel in awe. "I never heard anything about it flying..." The second new arrival, a young girl in a red kimono with a huge set of limp shadow claws dragging on the ground behind her for a left arm, looks puzzled by the sight. The two smaller creatures behind her, a young, nearly bear cub-sized black fox with a silver tipped tail, and a white cat with eerie eyes and fangs about 3 times his size, don't say anything. "Kayori, are we gonna fly into that bubble and go have a magical floaty party with Felixter?!" The monster girl's eyes light up at the prospect. "U-um, well, Mirui, we gotta get inside first...and I'm not so sure we can get through that bubble. It depends what kind of magic it's made of." The girl in the red kimono laughs somewhat nervously. "Do you think...I could...?" The scary (but still somewhat cute) white cat asks quietly. "Cloudy's in there...I want her to be safe..." "Maverick, I'm sure your sister's fine. Ammi's in there too, supposedly." Kayori reassures him. The black fox starts writing a message on his white board, and upon flipping it to show the others, it reads, "Regardless, we should probably find SOME way in. That, or a safer place than out in the open like this." "You're right, Ryoku." Kayori nods, turning back to look up at the floating hotel once more. "There's gotta be some way in..." Natasha, Numirra, and Noruani all sport grins in their animal forms, and slowly creep closer, out of the woods... "Followed? With how fast and sudden you dragged me over here, I don't think-" Nimika starts with a strange look towards Karl, but she's cut off when she hears giggling coming from the floor. An annoyed look takes over her face, and she turns to glance down at her own shadow on the ground, which not only seems darker than usual, but has two pairs of bright yellow eyes blinking within it. "Hiiiiiiii, Nimmy!" The girl's voice greets happily. "Don't mind us! We're just here to watch..." The guy's voice snickers. Nimika turns away with a haughty sigh, glances over the schedule she's given, and takes in the necessary information. She watches the mysterious man leave her and Karl to fend for themselves, slightly uneasy, but remaining completely calm overall. "Well, at least he was fairly concise..." Nimika mutters partially to herself.
"A picture? Oh, well, I'd be happy to pose for a picture!...Unfortunately, I'm not exactly sure I'll show up in it. We had a fellow come in here with a regular camera once. His pictures never came out right. Always distorted, or perfect, but with no one in them." Abernathy replies to Lucas.
"I agree. Negloria seems like someone we should only approach if we really feel prepared." Minako nods at Makoto. She starts looking around for any signs of other ghosts in the house as well, quite sure that one must be close by, after seeing that blur rush past behind her. When other people start asking about what they're doing in the mansion in the first place, she turns to them.
"Well...I found out about this place awhile back, on the internet. There's possible rewards for people who can truly figure out what happened here, and why that made everyone in Negloria town vanish so suddenly." She explains. "I'd go ahead and guess that is what you also heard, if you managed to find your way out here. I mean...I may or may not have had to fight off a wolf on my way up. This isn't just a place you could find on a relaxing walk outside."
"It used to be..."
Minako blinks, then looks down at the ground. There's suddenly a deathly skinny, unusually tall silver ghost cat with spotted fur and very odd blue eyes licking her paws next to her.
"Who might you be?" Minako asks.
"Amelia." The cat replies aloud for everyone to hear through her mind, instead of opening her mouth. "This mansion used to be a grand place for parties and the like. Kids used to come here on little adventures. The mansion's owner was a very, very kind soul indeed. I hear he had a wife and child...but his wife died far before him, and the child...no one knows about her."
"Wait...a daughter..." Minako has a small realization. "Do you think that Negloria could be that daughter?"
"As I said, it seems no one knows. Negloria doesn't speak of such things." Amelia answers.
