This game though, srsly.
There was something to be said about Tenboul's Psychological Institute for the Mentally Unstable.

Most knew the facility to be one of the best in the state, perhaps even in the country, its prestige known through magazines and news articles and television broadcasts. The doctors were very hands-on with their patients, the nurses were friendly and helpful, and there were quite a few success stories of complete habilitation for minor cases involving hysteria and small bouts of common mental illnesses. It was a clean, professional building with caring people opperating behind-the-scenes with the intent of helping others to the best of, and sometimes beyond, their ability.

So it was rather a rude awakening when one patient, Reyna Lacross, entered their doors several years back, quiet as a graveyard and still recovering from what looked like a head injury. The escorts that had brought her in looked rather spooked standing beside her, and when she was fully instated into the hospital's system, they were quick to depart without so much as an over-the-shoulder glance behind them.

The first few weeks proved to be very strenuous, as there seemed to be nothing wrong with the young woman. The first psychological test with their very own on-call psycologist was the only thing vouching for her stay, the doctor having written her off to be "very mentally unstable" with the possibility of harm against others. So the staff remained cautious of their curious patient, careful to give her the prescribed medications and keeping a watchful eye over her progress. Aside from snide comments and the occassional mutterings to herself, all seemed as normal as one could get with mental trauma.

Then there was the start of the Volunteer Program, and everything went to hell.

The program was approved as a means to bring in sane, able-minded people to interact with the patients in order to provide both stimulating conversation and positive energy. It had gone well for some of the other patients, but Reyna was proving to be quite difficult. She alone had gone through twelve volunteers, each never lasting more than two months. There had even been word of one woman having quit the first hour being in Reyna's presence. Reyna had adopted an almost permanent smirk the whole next week after that encounter.

For a whole year after the twelfth volunteer left, the staff kept Reyna off the program's list in fear that she would progress to more violent means in the coming future. She had already shown signs of hostility to the last few volunteers as well as some of the staff that cared for her. After the last psycological test, however, she was deemed ready to return to the program under more intense supervision.

Volunteer number thirteen was then assigned to Reyna, and all hoped that the number thirteen wasn't as unlucky as the superstitions made it out to be.
Did not realize there were two different tabs for IC and OOC. Woops!
Hello all! Sethrine here (or oldguild Rein, as some may know me) looking for something to quench my writing frenzy. Before I get to the ideas, here's a brief summary of guidelines and things you may need to know:

~I'm a girl; therefore, I rp best as a girl. Not saying I won't take a guy role, as I normally take a couple roles at a time, but just putting it out there. It sounds like I'm being rude, but I promise it's my inability to word this any better. I can play male roles, but I'm much better at female roles.
~ Contribution is key. Let's get the ball rolling with ideas from both parties! It's more fun than me making all the progress, or vice versa. Got a plot twist? Throw that baby in there! Let's see where it goes.
~Casual/Mid-Advanced parties welcomed! I like some depth in an rp as well as good character developement, which means posts will be a bit lengthy, at least 3-5 paragraphs. Mistakes are made, and that's okay. Let's grow as writers together. You never know what you're gonna learn.
~Let's talk it out, partner! I like getting to know my rp partner and the ideas they may have. Hell, it doesn't have to be about the rp; tell me about your day! Who knows? Maybe we'll make a kick-ass friendship out of this equally kick-ass rp opportunity.
~ Problem? Tell me what's up. Whether it's irl or in the rp, let me know if there's something that could pose as a problem. Maybe my post didn't come up all the way or got scrambled and I didn't realize it; maybe we talked about going one way and I completely forgot and went another; maybe you've got the flu and just can't gather the strength to post. It's okay to tell me what's up!
~ Posts in threads, OOC in PMs. I can keep up so much better with things this way. That way, our private matter can stay away from unwanted eyes, and our rp can be up for anyone interested in reading to enjoy!
~ Have some fun! Does this one need explaining?!

Alright! Now for a few ideas I've got in my head!

Please Notice: Any titles with a strike-through have already been taken. The parenthesis beside the titles denote possible characters to choose from, not necessarily a pairing.

Spirit Hopper - (supernatural entity/human)
In a world where supernatural entities exist and are monitored by the government, there is a race of beings known as Spirit Hoppers. These beings, known to be docile in nature, are able to enter a host and gently coerce them into actions or conversations without completely taking over. Unfortunately, there has been word of a single Hopper who has been using his power for evil intent. The government has issued two opperatives specialized in supernatural knowledge to hunt down and dispose of this threat, unaware that one of them is much closer to the Hopper than he/she appears.

To Catch a Fairy - (fairy/ human)
Fairies are known to be shy, curious beings. Unlike their troublesome cousins, the pixies, faries will observe from afar and tend to keep on the good side of other living creatures. So what happens when a human stumbles upon one of these mythical creatures and catches it? One thing is for sure - there's a lot more danger to being a fairy than anyone ever anticipated.

Project 13 - (project/lower-class scientist, project/outside source)
There's a secret facility owned by a group of scientists that houses selected people for testing to being the next great spy/human weapon. These people's memories are swiped before testing begins, allowing the facility to remold them into unstoppable machines that are only concerned with following orders and obeying their superiors. Unfortunately, one of their tests, known as Project 13, has a memory relapse and escapes the facility in hopes of regaining his/her memory as well as shutting down the awful facility. Thanks to the help of his/her new friend, things may go in their favor, if the search party doesn't catch them first.

Star Dust, Let's Fade Away - (entity/human)
There's an old legend about a small city's forest area to the east of downtown. They say once every ten years, when the moon is at its fullest and the stars shine the brightest, a thick fog will cover the forest floor, and the light of the dark sky will create what are known as Soul Stars. These entities, almost ghostlike in appearance, take on a human form and must find a human to attach themselves to in order to becoming a living, breathing entity. Most never get the chance, as upon dawn's first light, they fade away with the fog. Then comes the night a man/woman enters the forest and unkowingly triggers a chain of events that can either create a life or destroy it.

Insanity - (psychological patient/volunteer councelor)
NOTE: I've tried this one several times, and I absolutely love the idea, but it never grabs anyone's attention.
A woman has been locked away in a psych ward for years after a tragic accident made her mentally unstable, or so the doctors have proclaimed. The hospital has tried bringing in volunteers to assist in her recovery, only to find that each volunteer they've tried bringing in never stays long, and most end up leaving with their own mentality at jeopardy. They're now at their thirteenth volunteer who happens to have a little practice in dealing with unstable minds, but will he turn and run before his patient breaks him down, or will he succumb to her mental manipulation until his own personal problems come to light?

These are just a few ideas I'm really wanting to do at the moment. I'm also into modern fantasy based things as well as supernatural stuff. I also don't mind just modern stuff in general, so I'm willing to hear any and all ideas.

Interested? Let me know via here or pm, either way is perfectly fine by me.
