seems the girl to boy ratio is better. Thank god Jia-li isint the only bitter one. i might have gone mad if i had to be the only one playing a not so nice character.

X-men: Order of Heracles

Jia-li frowned as her yoga was halted by the sound of Robert's voice over the intercom. With a heavy, irritated sigh, she packed up her things and went to her room to change. A simple pair of black cargo pants and a longsleeve black top would suffice for her outfit as she stepped into some flats and headed for the briefing room. Her feet made nearly silent taps on the floor as she slipped through the halls unnoticed by many.

When she entered the room, a few were already discussing a plan of action and it halted for a moment as she walked in. "Sorry. Continue." she said, her voice low and firm, almost demanding. She sat farthest from the others and pulled up part of the projection closer to her face. She listened quietly as she looked over each image closely. When she spoke her accent was very pronounced.

"Criminals huh. I suppose just killing them all would be out of the question?" she paused. "I think we should retrive the remaining MCD and Swat Team members and remove them from the equasion. Get them out, move them to safety and then focus on the prisoners."

Jia-li eyed an image of the two siblings and said "I second the idea of getting these two under control. They will have no choice but to comply. We will convince them. I suggest two teams. One in charge of getting the innocents to safety and preventing further harm, the other would 'talk' to the two and try to get them to surrender." She returned the images and sat back in her chair, swiveling it slowly and even spinning around once. Her left hand would reach up and appear to try to rub the angry furrow of her brows. It would work for a moment before her natural scowling face would return.

Appearance

Name: Jia-li Jin

Codename: Void

Age: 24

Position/Cuties: Field Agent/ Spy/ Interrogater/ Clean Up Crew

Race: Chinese, Mutant

Powers: Black Hole Creation: Can create black holes at any time or place that will absorb anything including: light, matter, vaccum, energy, and gravity to turn them into nothing. The victim will be ripped to shreds painfully as it is stretched and compacted to a point of compression upon entering the black hole. They are then erased to nothing as body molecules, matter, energy, etc. are absorbed. Limits: Size ranges from marble to no bigger than a car, can be held open for a maximum of 10 seconds, only two at a time, 10 second resting time.

Personality: "Do you really feel the need to speak to me? I may just feel the need to break your bones."

Jia-li is not the nicest of people. While not outrightly mean or nasty, she is not the most bubbly person and can be bitter and sarcastic at times. She only speaks when spoken to and is likely to scoff and point out your flaws. Despite her attitude, she is very loyal and can be trusted, though many people dont at first. She is a skilled street fighter with good agility and a sharp mind. Though she may not have a problem with you, she wont let anyone close in fear of hurting them.

Reason for Joining: At the age of 18 she was recruited by the Order for mainly the reason being she could pose a threat. She was seen as unstable and keeping someone with such a destructive power under close watch seemed like a good idea. While she doesn't like this reasoning, she has no problem working for the Order. She had been living secluded for many years, so just being near other living beings brings her more joy than she would admit.

Preferred Method of Using Powers: Since she is often sent to erase evidence of the Order's envolvement in some things, Jia-li often times uses her powers to get rid of spies or enemies of great threat to the Order. She will likely demonstrate her ability while interrogating or threatening convincing someone to do what she says. Though she has a lid on her powers, she often finds her black holes to be slightly unstable when she is weak, fatigued, or angry. She is careful not to use her powers where her allies are near. Though she wont admit it, she is afraid she will one day hurt someone on accident yet again.

History: At the age of four, Jia-li's powers were first discovered when she sucked in her preschool teacher and five classmates by accident. She was not given a turn to use the swing and got angry, killing them and destroying part of the playground. Her parents ended up moving from Beijing to Hong Kong in an attempt to avoid notice, but periodicly, once every 4 years it would happen again. Once, age 8 in the library when a girl checked out a book she wanted. Again, age 12 when a boy rejected her valentine chocolates. Once more age 16 when her parents, who had since secluded her from society, yelled at her for going out without permission. Each time people would die, and she would be closer and closer to being found out. Every four years she would lose control for a stupid reason, her black holes would increase in size and decrease in stability, more and more people would die. At 18 she was taken in by the Order, not by force but firm convincing and two years later at age 20 it would happen again. That time the she would erase an entire top half of a building while on a date with a human. He wasent a good man...he hit her, and nearly a hundred people ended up paying the price.

Now four years later, she is overdue for another incident. She has been codenamed Void not just because of her power, but because of her dark personality as well. Jia-li has learned to always be angry, always expect to be pissed off or amnoyed by someone and her anger would not hit her vishously and send her out of control. Now soon turning 25, her tactic seems to be working as she is without incident. Though, who knows. Tomorrow is another day, and death will follow whichever path she takes.
